I’m pretty sure today was my last visit to Potomac Cookie. Not only are the cookies inconsistent, the service is as well. Upon arrival, there were no employees in the front of the store. When one finally came out of the back, instead of greeting us she stared and waited for us to tell her our order without a hi, what would you like, how may I help you.
I purchased four cookies, asked for them to be placed in a box and was told the cookies were too big for the boxes they have. After we were rang up the employee told me they were out of bags. Then, she dropped one of the cookies on the floor. Had it not been for my daughter and her friends happily and patiently waiting I would have walked out. I honestly regret making a purchase today and will definitely be taking my business elsewhere.

The Lemon drop cookie gave me LIFE! I'm a cookie monster and very picky about find the perfect cookie. I'm always on the hunt. And I can honestly truly state that this place makes the BEST one. Hands down. Serious magic in these. You Must try. If there were more stars to give, I would give it!

I had the pistachio cookie and it was delicious, reminiscent of dubai chocolate with the crispy kataifi. Super soft! Highly recommend if you are looking for something sweet!

Cookies are extremely inconsistent. Today I came in around 12:45 and some cookies were the usual shape while many other varieties were flat and didn't look anything like the pictures online or like previous cookies that I've gotten from the location.
For example, the s'mores cookie today did not have a marshmallow baked into the center. Today. The cookie was very flat and wide and look like it had some marshmallow inside of the actual cookie.
Being that the cookies are so extremely different today, I would have to assume that some were baked fresh and others are leftovers
No stated hours on the door. And even per Google, it is open at 10am on Saturday. But doors were locked at 10:25am. Overpriced cookies and def incompetently managed.

Sooo yummy so decadent. Especially the raspberry white chocolate stuffed with cream cheese. One of my favorites. I know they switch flavors pretty often so it may not be available when you go there but 10/10 they never miss

I think their cookies are delicious and better than Crumble. I particularly enjoyed the Biscoff. It’s not cheap but exactly what I expect to pay for them based on the quality ingredient’s and individual cookie size. I’m so glad to have a Potomac Cookie in my local neighborhood!
