This is my goto place for chickpea curry, rice, and shirazi salad. Its not close to where i live, so i make up excuses just to be in the area, and drop in for a takeout order. As a strict omnivor, it's rare for me to skip the kabob, but thats what i do at Famous. If they were to offer me a free item at ordering, without thinking I'd double up on the chickpea curry. While writing this I've decided I'll commit to a kabob or two on my next visit. I especially love the flavoring of the rice with its hint of saffron, the spicy green sauce which is absolutely superb, and the subtle spiciness of the chickpeas....thank you Famous!!

1st time dining here and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious, fresh and I felt like a valued customer. My wife was with me and she really enjoyed the meal. My husband and I love kebobs and decided to try this place. The owner was very nice and the chef came out to greet us as well. I ordered the boneless chicken with rice and the chick peas and my husband ordered the beef kebob and french fries. To our deligght, the food was delicious and felt the portions were generous. We had enough for lunch and dinner. We will go out and would definitely recommend trying out this place. It was nice surprise!!!

They recently took over, and I wanted to give them a try. The place was empty so I placed a takeout order, the staff was friendly. However, when I got home and started eating, I realized the rice was rancid—it smelled and tasted off. I even second-guessed myself and asked a friend to try it. She joked that I must have left it sitting out all night, which made me laugh because I had just picked it up! Unfortunately, this experience has put me off, and the chicken curry was o.k. I won’t be returning. I’ve also warned friends to avoid this place.
In response to the owner: no salad, sauce or bread was given only the chicken curry which was a small portion sp needless to say I was left hungry. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE

I was very disappointed with my recent experience. The man who took my order was extremely rude and even shouted at me in front of others, which was very unprofessional. To make matters worse, when I finally received my carry-out food, it was packed with excessive gravy that spilled and ruined my car. This was both upsetting and unacceptable.

So this is my second time ordering the first time I got chicken biryani, and chickpeas It was early in the morning when I ordered, everything was very tasty and fresh. I was craving so I tried to order again. The second time the chicken biryani was not chicken biryani. It was rice and chicken, bones, unseasoned and dried the chickpeas was hard completely different flavor from last time. I am so angry because I was really looking forward to my food. The food is completely inconsistent and I have noticed some of it smell bad, especially the yogurt sauce. I unfortunately will never order from them again Because you’re expecting to get the same thing every time and that’s not what you’re gonna get at all literally the rice it’s not Baroni. It’s just rice with chicken bones, and the chicken pieces are dried and crusty.
9/5/2025 : Food and Atmosphere in this location may be pleasing with their grand reopening but the service is Zero stars. Visited online to order via website and few of their items were priced lower than it should be (portions at 3.99 and 6.99) called the store at noon to verify /let them know about the messup on their pricing and place an in-store pickup order on the actual price if it was to be but the store guy kept arguing, cursing me as if I messed up their website :) unprofessional and attitude at its best. Food here is not really bad but be ready to face the devil. There are much better food joints in the area. Dont recommend this place unless all other stores nearby are closed. For their management : please know that service matters too !

Had the best dinner at this place. Never had been here but this deserves MORE THAN A FIVE STAR review. They made fresh hot naan on my demand and i had the most delicious meal i have had in a while. Everything was cooked to perfection. If youre looking for a sign to COME VISIT THIS PLACE THIS IS YOUR SIGN. I will be a regular at this place and wholeheartedly recommend it to all of you. Best customer service as well as the food!!!!!

The food was delicious and freshly made. I had the chicken gyro which is made with the chicken kabob meat. It came out deliciously hot and juicy. Also ordered fries; perfectly double fried & crispy. Ask for their seasoning on the fries 😍
The service was so prompt and kind. They checked in to see if we needed anything multiple times.
This place offers outdoor seating and hookah as well if you like.
