We really enjoyed working with Simply Fresh Events for our wedding at Stone Tower Winery in Leesburg, VA. Maya our event producer, was so patient with us going through all the many ideas we had and tweaks we made to the menu throughout the planning process. Our guests have been raving about the food since our wedding. Some of the biggest hits were the brown butter lobster rolls at our cocktail hour and the late night fries and pretzel bites station during the reception. Our guests also loved the firepit smores outside. Overall it was a great experience for us and our guests!

Simply Fresh was responsive and communicative immediately upon our outreach. We were only weeks away from our wedding reception (!!) and they worked with us to plan and execute a fabulous event. The pricing and terms were clear, the preparation was perfect, and the food was really good. Our guests commented on how yummy it actually was! The servers were kind and fun -we had a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend!

Our nonprofit partnered with Simply Fresh for our largest fundraising gala of the year--Hillary and the Simply Fresh team knocked it out the park. Our event was for 260 guests at an event venue without a commercial kitchen. The menu was elevated, the food came out hot and well prepared, and the service was outstanding. We had a tight timeline the night of the event to plate all meals for 260 guests in under 30 minutes and the team delivered on that promise. The Simply Fresh team was a delight to work with during the planning process and the night of the event, and they have a variety of menu options that are elevated and unique, which is hard to find in corporate event planning. I I highly recommend anyone planning a large corporate event to consider Simply Fresh as an option.

My daughter and her fiancé chose Simply Fresh Events for their Nov. 1, 2025 wedding and we were very fortunate to be working with Hillary Clagett as our “day of” coordinator. With only 4 month before the big day, Hillary provided us with the tools we needed to pull together the best wedding we ever could have dreamed of. She offered us so much more than “day of”, meeting with us several times, guiding us through the multiple choices and decisions. All through, HIllary was professional, super efficient and very pleasant to work with. It was a complicated project: multiple shuttles from hotel to both Welcome Party and Wedding Venue, the Rocklands Winery venue’s several locations from the farm house, to the ceremony under an arch under the blue skies, to the cocktails in the barn, the lovely tent for dinner back to the barn for dancing and desserts, ending with a sparkler send off and limousines for the newlyweds and parents. Through it all Hillary and her Simply Fresh Events team took care of every detail and didn’t miss a beat all night. I have no idea how she could be in so many places at once! The food was stupendous and the cocktail party appetizers were so delicious, dinner was served elegantly and efficiently and the desserts were laid out beautifully. All our guests commented on the seemingly seamless planning and how much fun was had by all. Thank you Simple Fresh Events and Hillary Clagett!

Simply Fresh catered my Father's funeral reception & I honestly couldn't have been more impressed! Everyone was wonderfully attentive & so very kind & caring during a very difficult event. I'd recommend them HIGHLY for whatever event you have! It was amazing to walk in & be welcomed by smiling waitstaff offering beautiful & delicious canapés & my absolute favorite of the reception the Lobster 🦞 Rolls to make any New Englander proud! I'm absolutely going to ask about the chocolate chip & oreo infused cookies because they were the best I've ever had (sorry Mom 💕🤣) My Dad was an absolute Oreo aficionado & would've eaten every single one himself! Loved the small personal touches as it made this day a bit brighter.

Highly recommend. Hillary made our experience for our Dad's 70th bday feel stress free despite the stress of it all! I want to give her and the company 10 stars.

Simply Fresh Events was simply the best. The food was outstanding and raved about by all the guests. The package was all-inclusive and included rentals and bartenders in one lump sum, for ease. Outside of that, Maya Murphy, was my coordinator and she went above and beyond. I did not have to worry about a thing, she handled things I didn't even know need to be handled. She created my floorplan, turned over the event space seamlessly, and continuously brought me and my now husband food and drinks as we were too busy to do so ourselves. I would not hesitate to recommend Simply Fresh Events or Maya Murphy to anyone and everyone!

I cannot recommend Simply Fresh Events — and especially Hillary Clagett — highly enough! We planned our wedding in just four months, and Hillary was an incredible communicator from start to finish, making the entire process easy, organized, and even fun.

Our venue was Rocklands Farm Winery, and since Hillary and her team have coordinated dozens of weddings there, everything felt effortless and seamless. She also helped us plan our Welcome Party at our home the night before, providing tables, chairs, and linens from Simply Fresh Events, which made things so convenient.

Both the welcome party and wedding day staff were professional, courteous, and impressively efficient. We had a lot of moving parts — shifting between multiple spaces (indoor, outdoor, tent, barn, etc.) — and Hillary and her team ensured everything flowed perfectly from one moment to the next. They truly didn’t miss a beat.

The food was fantastic — I just wish I’d had more time to enjoy it (too many guests to chat with!).

If you’re looking for a team that’s experienced, attentive, and a joy to work with, I wholeheartedly recommend Hillary Clagett and the Simply Fresh Events team for all of your wedding weekend needs.

I have used Simply Fresh on many occasions both for business and personal events. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and they make the process easy from beginning to end. Everyone on the team is responsive and I would highly recommend them.

We are so happy with went with Simply Fresh as our wedding caterer! Our tasting with Simply Fresh was the best one we went to (from the food to the experience) and boy did they deliver on the big day too. Buffy and her team made us feel special from the jump and Maya was our amazing coordinator throughout the entire process. From the food to all our needed and desired rentals, Simply Fresh had everything we needed and had all the options for us to bring our vision to life. Our guests had a variety of dietary preferences and restrictions, and Simply Fresh had a delectable menu option for everyone, from meat eaters to pescatarians, to gluten-free, to SUCH good vegan options. We recommend Simply Fresh without hesitation for your special day!

We used Simply Fresh for our wedding at the Glenview Mansion and used their day-of coordination services (Hillary, specifically). From our initial consultation to the day of, they were absolutely wonderful. Everyone we interacted with was great; always super nice and helpful (Particularly Hillary of course!). They listened to what we were envisioning for our food and prepared an excellent tasting for us, including welcome cocktails which ended up as our signature cocktails. They then adopted any feedback and tailored the food to exactly what we were looking for. The food - from the appetizers through the desserts - ended up tasting and looking amazing and was exactly what we were hoping for, I only wish I had gotten a chance to eat more of it!

As far as coordination goes, Hillary could not have been better. We were in contact with her from the day of our tasting, and although her coordination services really picked up a month out from the event, she was so helpful with planning and our various questions throughout the process. The fact that Hillary and the Simply Fresh team were familiar with Glenview made the planning process so much easier. On the day of, Hillary was such a calming presence; she made our day so much easier and allowed us to be present in the moment knowing that she had everything handled. She is truly responsible for our wedding day going as well as it did.

We'll miss chatting with Hillary! We can't recommend Hillary and the Simply Fresh team highly enough!

I grew up hearing how wedding food is notoriously awful. Not simply fresh. Not only was it the best wedding meal I've ever had (and it was my own wedding!), I wish they had a restaurant so we could go back and order our wedding food for a night out! Working with Maya was seamless, and she made planning and decision making a breeze leading up to our wedding. Simply fresh took care of everything for our big day and we didn't have to worry about a thing. It was a bit on the pricey side of our budget, but, for the quality of the food (and the number of complements we have gotten on it!) I think it was excellent value for money. Would absolutely work with them again if I can!

We cannot recommend Simply Fresh Events enough! From the very start, the planning process was seamless thanks to Jocelyn. She was professional, organized, and truly helped us craft the ideal menu for our vision. The level of service on the day of the wedding was also extraordinary. Lexi, our head server, led an incredibly attentive and professional team. We received numerous compliments from our guests about how quickly they were served and how proactive the staff was throughout the evening. And, of course, the food exceeded our expectations! Our guests are still raving about how delicious everything was. What truly sets Simply Fresh Events apart is that they are genuinely full-service, allowing us to choose our own unique menu items and drinks without being limited to a set list. This level of customization and care, combined with top-tier food and service, made them one of the best vendor choices we made. Thank you, Simply Fresh!

Simply Fresh catered our Oct 5th wedding at Rocklands Farm and Winery. They were phenomenal at all levels from my very first inquiry call when Geoff spent a lot of time with me on the phone through the actual event. The food was delicious and many of our guests commented on it, especially the smoked brisket. The groom was a vegetarian and thought the Asian tofu dish prepared for him was delicious. We hired Jocelyn to be our party coordinator and she was worth every penny and then some. She went with me to the rental store and had a good sense of what works and what doesn't at Rocklands and what was worth the money and what was not worth an upgrade. Jocelyn knows Rocklands inside and out and interfaced well with the staff there. I would use Simply Fresh again in a heartbeat.

Disappointed with their communication and service. The wedding went as planned but they need to work on their communication for sure. Food was alright, some of their servers are obnoxious.
