Sin & Gin is an excellent local, family owned restaurant. We visit often, usually several times a month. The food is excellent quality. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Definitely one of our favorites!

Our new favorite taco spot, hands down. Came down to Gaithersburg to go to an unrelated shop which was unfortunately closed; a bit bummed, we looked around, and found this absolute gem.My SO says the SOB tacos remind her of a good, home cooked meal, and I found the chicken reuben to be just as excellent, juicy without being sloppy. My SO also said the margarita was as close to perfect as possible, and I thought the aviation tasted excellent as well.I’m really glad the other place we initially came to this area for was closed, else we may not have stumbled onto S&G. Great food, everyone was friendly. Bit of a drive for folks close to Baltimore (like us), but we’re going to start making it, because this place is THAT good.Parking: Parking on Main Street is competitive during busy hours, but it’s free, and you should be able to find parking within a block or so.

Cozy local spot with full bar and mexican fair. Huge fan of the bartender, this is a go to neighborhood spot for excellent cocktails. The bowls are behemoth-sized, but all portions are generous. Also, really loved the rice pudding.

First of all, the people who own this neighborhood favorite are really what make this place so special. Yanni, the bartender is awesome. Now let’s talk about the food. I think their salsa beats any out there including Tex Mex joints. It’s fresh and those chips..hmmm!!!So many good food options. I love the shrimp wrap.

A bizarre offering of both Mexican and Mediterranean food, but not necessarily a fusion. Overall: 3/10.Food: the food at Sin & Grin feels like it does not have an identity, the menu is not Mexican food or Mediterranean or a fusion. Highly recommend against the steak fajita burrito; although my wife said the fish tacos were okay. Value: food was a bit overpriced for what it was, between $17-19 for a burrito?! It had like 6 pieces of steak insideService: Great, attentive staff, no complaints on serviceAmbiance: small quaint restaurant, nothing stands out for good or badI would not go back; there are better options for both Mexican and Mediterranean food nearby.

This is probably our FAVORITE restaurant in the neighborhood. We love the warm, cozy feeling. The servers are so nice and work very hard. The food is fresh and delicious. We love all of their tacos (especially the salmon), hearty rice bowls and of course, the fresh, juicy rotisserie chicken dinners. Recently, we got to try one of the daily "specials", and it was so so so yummy -- the best beef stroganoff ever! The meat was cooked so perfectly tender with absolutely scrumptious mushroom cream sauce all served atop the most buttery, tasty mashed potatoes -- talk about comfort food!!! If you order any kind of salad here, you're in for a treat - they use the most fresh ingredients and you get beautiful, salad greens! The food and service never disappoints! The regulars like to hang out at the bar...overall this place is a perfect hometown gem!

Phenomenal food, and great service (and martini) from Julie. Bill runs the place and has since it was a hidden gem as Vasili’s. But now as mostly texmex (but still with tzatziki and greek desserts) it’s even better, and definitely better than the bigger operation that bought the Vasili’s name. Great tacos, beans, bowls, etc. do not miss it!

Best margaritas around. It's a homemade recipe that is not too sweet, but oh so good. Combined with the fresh food, it's an unbeatable combination.

I've been coming to sin and grin since they've opened and they're food is great but my last experience there was awful. The outdoor seating is first come so we sat at a table that still needed to be cleared off because it was busy and we didn't want anyone else to grab it. When the waitress came to clean off the table she started pushing the old rice and beans off the table onto my lap and onto my dog who was laying on the ground next to me. I asked to her not wipe the food onto my dog and she asked for me to move him. Before writing a public review, I tried emailing, messaging, and calling a few times after that night but no answers or replies. It's disgusting to have someone's old food flung onto me and my dog and shows either lack of training and lack of care. This message is more for the business to see and finally either reply to me or at least read it since I couldn't get a reply any other way.
