I had a craving for fresh sourdough bread. Last time I had some my son bought it at a market in Frederick and it was fantastic. Today I had some errands to run near Rockville so I stopped by and picked up a couple of loafs. As soon as I got home I just had to have 2 slices with fresh butter. Since moving to the neighborhood this has become our breakfast staple. The staff is warm, inviting, and helpful. The offerings are amazing - some dependable staples and lots of seasonal treats. The scones are amazing, and double as great shortcake for desert. The parmesan leek croissant is my go-to, and the pies and cheesecakes are amazing.
