Food was ok. I got the beef birria tacos with street corn and a glass bottled Coca Cola. The highlight of the meal was the street corn and I’d probably rate it a 7/10. Not sure if the seasoning on it was tajin but I wasn’t a huge fan of that or the fact that it had a like taste. I’m Salvadoran and we have our version of street corn. The tacos were ok. 6/10. They are heavy handed with cilantro, I had to remove some to be able to taste the meat. The meat was seasoned well but what killed the taco was they made it in soft flour tortilla. That’s a big no. If it’s not corn tortilla it’s not right. Felt like I was eating a soft Taco from Taco Bell. The soda was a little flat so you didn’t get that nice crisp burn but it was ok, this place is giving chipotle if I’m honest. It’s not authentic Mexican food but I’m sure others will enjoy.

Great place. Lively atmosphere. Happy-hour vibes. Taco alternatives. But slow bar service. And I'm not a fan of ordering drinks from the main cashier. If I'm only drinking, then food service should be separated from drinks. Just my opinion to help speed up customer wait times.

I have only eaten in once due to the crowds and noise. The food is great, the total bamba is a great sharing dish. The various tacos are tasty and well cooked. I would highly recomend.

We ordered a Lopez torta, barbacoa taco, Taco Bamba taco, Mexican corn, and a Ma Cho taco. All of the food was tasty and well packaged for take out but the torta was a bit salty. We've been here before and the al pastor taco (does not appear to be traditional al pastor but rather the typical shortcut way used in the US) was also salty. The arabe taco was pretty good but unlikely to be made in the traditional way, like the al pastor taco (the inspiration for al pastor is the arabe taco). On another positive note, the bread for the torta was really good. I highly recommend Taco Bamba. It is one of the best taco places in the area for creative and traditional tacos.

Good selection of food. There are many options for tacos, both traditional and uniquely Bamba. Their salad bowl which comes with quinoa, your choice of protein and guacamole is also delicious and filling.

Came in for a late lunch. It was quite and clean. The chicken quesadilla is THE BEST in the area. It's made so fresh and the seasoning is incredible. The El Gringo taco is amazing too!

Tasty Tacos, Relaxed Vibe!Taco Bamba Gaithersburg offers a nice change of pace. It wasn't overly crowded, and the space has a cool, modern feel. The food was flavorful and satisfying, plus it's in a handy spot - definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

I really liked this place, but I won't be back after this evening. Came for drinks and tacos with my family. Table next to us gets their drinks. Thier food order comes out shortly after. Our food order comes out but not the drinks. We asked the food runner if the drinks are coming and show him the receipt. I literally see the food runner tell the bartender about the two drinks. The bartender acknowledges that there two drinks to be made. The bartender then proceeds to do everything but make the drinks. I make eye contact and he looks around and still doesn't make the drinks. My husband goes over and asks the bartender directly. By now our food is eaten. No drinks. Not even water. We ask the bartender what is up and he still doesn't make the drinks and tells us that he just refunded it. The manager intervenes. He makes the drinks but doesn't know what we ordered so he just makes two margaritas. When we ask what happened and why we specifically the only black patrons were denied our drinks being made and he has nothing to offer. It's obvious what is going on here and it's clear that upper management is aware that the bartender is a problem and refuses to do anything about it.

I love the tacos and tortas. Only negativity is they keep leaving bay leaves in the chicken tinga tacos but that is not going to stop me. Just keep an eye out.

Place is clean, industrial look. Similar to Chipotle but with a small bar area.I was excited because I love tacos and had seen this place but never went in. Fairly new place. So my wife got a job today and I wanted to "celebrate" with some tacos. What an embarrassment.Food was horrible. Not exaggerating when I say probably one of the worst tacos I have EVER eaten. First , $5 per taco. Then the tortillas, are THICK.not like the authentic thin tortillas. Dry and thick. The meat? Could barely taste any meat. Full of condiments and random stuff. Not like the normal taco places were you get the tortilla and meat. And you can taste it. I felt like I was eating thick tortillas and sauce. The fish tacos? I had no idea it was the fish taco. The birria taco? I though it was a tortilla with BBQ sauce on it. The Bamba Torta was huge. I will give you that. Had no flavor. For $19 I could have had two huge tortas and a taco or two at a good taco place. The horchata drink? Milk and a huge syrup stuck to the bottom of the bottle. I shook it and nothing. Terrible. The Bamba fries? Horrible. My wife and I are big eaters and almost never leave food behind. We threw away half the fries. Two tacos out of 7. And there away half of the Bamba Torta. I figured I'll by a JARRITO like soda to make my bad taste of food go away....$6 for a bottle of soda?Never again. I paid $90 for 7 tacos, a torta and fries. What a rip off. If you want GOOD tacos in the same area go to any of the TACO BARS or IXTA restaurant all in Gaithersburg MD. The best

Very surprised to find this gem in our travels through Maryland! We're kind of picky with our Mexican food since we're from Southern California, and these guys got it right. My husband got carne asada fries, and I got the Soccer Mom Torta, along with chips and salsa. Everything was hot, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The selection of different salsas all had their own flavor and heat, and were so good that I bought a bottle to take with me. I also got a fresh horchata and agua frescas. I wish I had taken advantage of their well stocked bar too. Would definitely recommend!Vegetarian options: There were several options available. I had the Soccer Mom Torta and it was fire!
