I have always loved this place, and the only thing I'd change is where it's located. Not the most ideal parking lot and surroundings. They fit us in without a reservation, and it was my birthday celebration! Thank you!
This place has a great atmosphere, and our service and server were fabulous. The food was great. Vegan options would be really cool if possible.
We brought our family to the restaurant on Thursday, April 17th for dinner, and it didn't go well--long delays, issues with service, etc--leading us to leave without eating. The owner and manager reached out to apologize and asked us to try again; we returned Monday, April 21st to a truly excellent dining experience. The service was stellar, the food was fantastic, and we truly felt appreciated as customers. TONS of gluten free options, felt like a great, safe place to eat with an allergy.
I would absolutely recommend the Gaithersburg Melting Pot after tonight's dinner; we will be returning!
My family and I had an amazing evening! Our server, Daniel was very attentive and helpful. We will be requesting him the next time we visit. The front staff informed us they were short staffed, but with Daniel as our server, we could not have had a better experience!!
Haven’t been to The Melting Pot in years and never to this location. It was wonderful! Service, atmosphere, food… A perfect night out! And we could take home leftovers. Not a budget dinner, but nice to splurge every once in awhile. :)

We were here for a birthday celebration. Our server Lennox was amazing. One of the best waiters we’ve ever had. We will definitely be back!!

The host and manager looked at us like we were unwelcome cause we weren't a family of four but our server was so kind and was running around like mad serving all the tables with a smile.

Nina was phenomenal!! My husband and I visited the Melting Pot for our 5th anniversary. Nina went above and beyond to make it feel personalized and special. Additionally, they were very sensitive to my gluten allergy. The only thing that I found difficult was that some things that contained gluten were touching and you had to share the pot with non-gluten food. My husband is used to it by now so we had a system to only use a certain side of the pot, not a big deal! Overall, it was an amazing experience and we are looking forward to another visit!

Booked a table for 5 at 6:45pm for a small birthday dinner. Had to wait until 7:03pm to be thrown into a party room. My table of 5 was seated in a room hosting two other tables of 10+. The noise was deafening. Service was great, food quality was marginal. I wouldn't recommend this location of The Melting Pot.
As nice as the server was, service was very slow. It seems they need more people to help out. Food was average. There was a time when Melting Pot was great.

I'm writing this review to save people from wasting money on a horrible dining experience. My server was no where to be found until I found her in the back of the resturant hitting a weed vape. She could barely explain the menu because she was so high ?. It completely ruined the vibe for my date night. I asked to speak to manager Max only to see him drinking a bottle of wine while he was hiding behind the bar. The place was completely empty so that explains why it took so long for him to come to our table. The worst part was that my server overcharged me for items I never even ordered I guess it was because she was using drugs to get through her shift. Please don't waste your time or money for a horrible guest experience especially when it seems like whoever is running this place has an alcohol addiction and can barely trains their servers.

Went here on a 2nd date with a special someone. Atmosphere was lovely. Service was excellent. We had a few drinks as well. Espresso Martini, Love Martini and the a few Margaritas. We had the fiesta cheese fondue for the first course. Caesar Salad & California Salad. Pacific and Classic for the main course with the cilantro, lime, garlic cooking broth. Dark chocolate fondue with extra strawberries and banana. We are both very health conscious but like to splurge a little on date night. It was a lovely night! ♥️
Parking: Plenty of parking
Wheelchair accessibility: Wide aisles for sure.

This has been a go-to birthday dinner location, but they are cutting back on the serving sizes and increasing the cost. We used to be satisfied with cheese and chocolate, but not tonight. They've also started charging for refill dippers. All in all a bit disappointing in a place I have enjoyed for years.
