Truly your neighborhood meet and eat place. Ted Danson and the whole Cheers gang would feel right at home here. And yes, everybody knows your name😇

This is the best place. Best food, best service. Parking lot is small but it’s always full for a reason. This is the type of restaurant you move to an area for. Good, down home, family diner. Chef kiss
This is a wonderful place to get breakfast. Consistency 5 star, food 5 star, welcoming atmosphere 5 star
Definitely great price on breakfast food food comes out in reasonable time more of an old-fashioned style restaurant one of the waiters. I’m not sure her name slim older lady is very rude. But the rest are why I keep coming back.
This restaurant I would definitely recommend, customer service is assume and food is great .
My husband went there for some breakfast. He gets the food and paid for 2 OJs and wasn’t told he had to get himself after they told him his order was ready. So when he got home, no OJ. I got a Belgian waffle with whipped cream and strawberries, which they put in the waffle instead of separately when your taking it to go. It got to me soggy with the smallest amount of whipped cream and about 6 slices of strawberries which 2 of them looked like it was rotten. To top it off , they didn’t put syrup in the bag, smh. Who doesn’t need syrup with waffles, that’s a given, that definitely should have been in the bag. They give you a good amount of bacon, but for some reason the bacon looked perfect, but tasted burnt. How in the world could that happen. The eggs needed a bit more seasoning, but was cooked well. My husband got an omelet and home fries, which were good but needed more seasoning. I may go back and try again, but if we’re carrying out, make sure toppings are separated and everything needed is in the bag before we leave.
Adequate but not a great experience
Omygosh, thank you so much to Barbara for giving us the BEST breakfast, and me the best BIRTHDAY a girl could have! I appreciate you so much. To the cook, our food was SO GOOD! I love crab cakes, real crab cakes, and he nailed it. In the end of our meal we had a beautiful and delicious strawberry waffle, and my day was set! See you next time ❤️
Excellent breakfast and home made taste
Just visited again for the first time in a few years, love this place!! Everything is as good as it has always been, like homemade…love the booth seating and friendly service! Definitely need to go more regularly

Typical old time diner in Gaithersburg Md . Nothing special ; undercooked bacon ; burnt & cold toast & undercooked home fries . decent coffee . will not return . friendly wait staff . I believe it to be overpriced for what you get ... disappointing.

Stopped in for breakfast during the week after dropping car off for service. Had always meant to try Village Green and just never got around to it. Larger than it looks from the outside with little to no atmosphere whatsoever. Pick up a menu and seat yourself, waitress finds you on her next lap through the place.
We had an order of pancakes and I ordered a bacon and provolone omelette with whole wheat toast. Order delivered by who I later learned was a newer waitress in training. After starting to eat my omelette thinking I needed to work in a bit to find the bacon, I realized I was likely delivered the wrong meal - a cheese omelette and rye toast. Took a while for the waitress to come back and I said I was delivered wrong meal, she said kitchen probably messed up, I said it's too wrong to be a mistake. She said she will have them make a new one. Original waitress comes by and says another table was served my meal. Takes longer than what you would think to fire up a new omelette but am delived a new plate - dig in to find a bacon and American cheese omelette with white toast. Close, but not the order.
On check out, you go to counter to pay. Both women were at counter and the long-timer is teaching the new employee how to ring the meal. As she's ringing mine and adding $0.20 for whole wheat toast I say - wait a minute, got served the wrong meal twice and neither time did I get wheat toast, so THAT is where I am drawing the line. The older woman comps the meal and when I hand the credit card, I am asked "are you tipping?", which of course I am, but why ask? I had an unusual exchange with the older woman and peeled off some bills from my wallet and air dropped them in the tip bucket and said I always tip but don't typically declare it during the process.
Food was average. Only grape jelly on table. They seem to have a "you get what you get and you don't get upset" attitude. There are apparently undeclared upcharges on some items.
Strange place for sure, just not for me.

Came because the reviews were high. Food came out quick but not good. Pancakes were slightly under cooked. The egg Benny was not good and the sauce was not hollandaise but something else. I would rather go to IHOP.
