Don't get me wrong, it is a nice restaurant. I have had dinner here multiple times. Just stay away from their steak offerings--very expensive and very low quality meat--and you will be fine.

The food was good but the service and surprise fees when we got the bill ruined it for me. It is what I call penny wise, pound foolish management, except for the fact they are banking on people not paying attention to the bill, so pay attention people! They charged for splitting food, which the rude waiter did not inform us in advance, and charged extra for using a credit card. I don't care if other places do it; plenty of places don't, so that's where I will take my business, elsewhere.

As soon as I walked in there was an odor that was overpowering. It seemed to be a mixture of smoke, air freshener, dirty mop and cloth. Turns out, there's a cigar lounge beside it and the aroma from there comes through the vents into the restaurant.

We had a big party so we ordered lots of different items. The lobster ravioli, seafood pasta and branzino were horrible. Two of us ordered the seafood pasta. The dish was supposed to have lump crab meat, shrimp and scallops in it. Both the shrimp and scallops were overcooked. One had a little crab meat in it. It didn't look as of the other had any. The salmon, pizza and burger were ok.

The server's first language was not English and it was extremely difficult communicating with him.

There was a man scurrying about, I'm guessing he was a manager. He wasn't very personable seemed to just be giving out instructions to the staff. We spent about $600 not including the tip and agreed that we would never visit there again.

We have eaten there several times in the past. There must be new management as they no longer give individual checks to large parties. Therefore our group
will no longer choose Galliano's in the future. There are too many others restaurants who provide separate checks. We have no complaint at all with adding the tip but 3 percent for credit card has never been charged in the past.
Perhaps it is hidden in the cost.

I went to the carryout today and what I noticed that a lady which is workingthere(looks like from South America) stepped where the pizza preparing spot and without disposable food gloves on grabbing and placing precutted white lofts of bread on a tray!! I was in SHOCK 😲! No more eating in this restaurant!

We came yesterday evening around 5:30- 6PM with my son and a girlfriend. This is the second Saturday in a row that we tried to come and dine in here and both times the man who works the front desk seems very overwhelmed, and panicked, (tall older man, thin build, and gray hair) and tells us the dining room is overbooked with no room and our only option is wait OVER AN HOUR for a table, or go to the bar, mean while multiple, multiple tables open through the restaurant. Both times he tried to push us into bar lounges. Why would I want my son to eat his dinner in the bar? Stars are based of professionalism as we clearly have yet to be allowed to dine in there. Very upsetting for my son who just wanted some spaghetti and meatballs.

Our waiter Todd was super helpful and pleasant, gave us good advice about the food and spoke to the chef for us. Food was delicious!

Visited over the weekend on Saturday evening, two of us, service was excellent the gentleman who took great care of us. Food was good. Tomato sauce needs a little more seasoning. Really wish they had stuffed shells or manicotti as an option. All in all everything was great. We will be back! Also cigar smoke was very noticeable where we were seated. The place next door should be held accountable for the cleaning services to remove that odor.

We went to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, party of 15! We were very excited about the atmosphere and vibes. Place is elegant! However that was the best part of the entire experience. Everyone ordered totally different palettes of entrees. I myself ordered clams, steak and cheese eggrolls, fettuccine Mediterraneano, and meatballs. For starters Small portions, cold food. The clams were undercooked. The server tried to gaslight me into believing otherwise. However I’m a seafood connoisseur and cooks it often, the clams weren’t open, which is a telltale sign they were undercooked. Raw seafood is a huge “No No”. After sending it back to the kitchen, it returned in the same exact manner. Cold meatballs eeeYuck, do I have to say more? Also the biggest by far false advertisement. The “Jumbo lump” in my pasta was non existent, 100% backfin aka Claw ! My entire party wasn’t enthused. Could it have been any worse ? Yes. Toilet immediately upon my arrival at home. $800 bill, mediocre at best. Btw They won “MD best Italian and most romantic restaurant”, I’m sure was PRANK! More funds clearly was invested into the design/structure of restaurant than the quality and quantities of the food. Which should always be prioritized. Seating and paintings shouldn’t be the star of your show. The food should always stand out more than anything. After all that’s what keeps places in business. Thumbs down, 0/5 stars given. Will not return. And I recommend you don’t either. There are far more better places to waste your money. Than a trip to Gambrills, for Subpar food.

Galliano’s Italian Restaurant has become a must-visit for us every time we travel from Denver to see family in Maryland. We make the trip twice a year, and without fail, this is the place we look forward to the most.

The food is consistently amazing—rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Our absolute favorite is the truffle macaroni and cheese paired with the pork chop. It’s a combination that’s hard to describe unless you’ve had it yourself—perfectly cooked, incredibly satisfying, and honestly unmatched. No one does it like Galliano’s.

If you’re anywhere near Crofton, this spot is worth going out of your way for. It’s not just a meal—it’s part of our tradition now.

Low quality italian food for the price. Truffle fettucini was overcooked and mixed with too many other flavours, way too much garlic and chili flakes. Garlic and chili overpower the gentle truffle taste. Carbonara was cooked with onions. Overall very illiterate italian cooking. All dishes were standing in a lot of oil/butter. Nice atmosphere and polite service though.

I’ve eaten at Galliano’s three times, and unfortunately my last visit was really disappointing. My mom ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with a side of broccolini, and there was still a rubber band in it—she actually bit into it and had to pull it out of her mouth. That alone was pretty upsetting and raises concerns about how carefully the food is being prepared.

I ordered my usual spaghetti with the giant meatball and asked to substitute the marinara for arrabbiata sauce. The waitress said that was fine, but instead they brought two separate entrees—one for the spaghetti and one for the meatball—and tried to charge me for both. I’ve ordered this before without issue. When I asked about it, I was told it was because the sauce costs more, but the manager later said it was only a $2.50 upcharge. That should have been clearly explained when I ordered, not after the fact.

The service has never been great, and between that and the rubber band incident, I don’t feel comfortable returning. It was a really disappointing experience overall.

Food and dessert was fantastic. Automatic gratuity after receiving the most disappointing table service I have had in an incredibly long time was not. Thanks Jenna, I wish I would have never went here.
