On Friday, I called a Hunan restaurant for takeout. The lady said it’d be ready in 20 minutes. When I got there, I had to wait another 15 minutes. The place was super busy, and the lady at the front was doing everything. She was answering calls, helping people, and running food to customers. The place seems over staffed and people were doing two jobs at once. People kept asking her where their food was, but she was patient and explained the chef had a lot of orders and needed more time. She kept saying sorry to everyone. I got shrimp fried rice, but it was too salty, and the noodles didn’t have much flavor. I was a little annoyed, so I called back to let them know. The lady on the phone was really nice and said she’d take care of it. Her attitude made me feel better. Even though the food wasn’t perfect, I’ll still go back

Really good experience at Hunan Express today. I wasn't sure what to order, so I asked the lady at the front desk for some help. She was super nice and recommended the Gongbao chicken, which was awesome!While I waited, we had a nice chat, and when I got home, there was a spring roll in my order with a note that said Happy Birthday.It was a really sweet touch. Great food and great service. I’ll definitely be back!

This used to be my go to spot for quality chinese food in the area. I've noticed a change in quality starting around late 2022 and it's only gotten worse. I ordered combo lo mein, hunan beef w/fried rice and egg rolls on 12/18/25. The beef was beyond tough and chewy, the fried rice was dry as hell, the lo mein was bland and flavorless, the egg rolls were decent. This was definitely the last order that I will ever make from this place. If negative stars were possible...they would get it.

This place is awful! If I could give them 0 stars I would. It’s dirty in there, they upcharge/nickel/dime you at every turn without notification, their food is flavorless, their cashier woman is rude, this is the worst chinese place in the area. Save yourself the drama and the trouble and go to Lees Schezuan for good food. We will never be back here.

The worst service I've ever received. It's like you just go and ask for food. Besides that, the woman, who doesn't even speak English well, dared to say she didn't understand what I was saying when I clearly asked if the shrimp with vegetables came with rice. She didn't understand because she didn't understand my English. It was hilarious because I did try to understand the English she was speaking, and let me tell you, she doesn't speak it very well either... But anyway, the customer service was awful.

For past few weeks Sept-Oct 2025 the food has dramatically changed for the worst. It’s not the same anymore. No spices and no flavor. My usual dishes do not taste the same anymore.examole of some issues: Sun Sein soup was literally just veggies in water (no broth). Sesame chicken was just fried coating with barely any chicken. Reported this to the restaurant. I will not be ordering there in the future.
Best value in town and food is always amazing! Also the staff is very friendly! $15 for 3x the amount of orange chicken you get at Panda Express, including large pork egg roll, and a bowl of your choice of soup!

Ordered from them online on GrubHub. Was told told the food would be here in about an hour. After 90 minutes I called them. They said the food would be here in 10 minutes. 10 minutes later I got an email from GrubHub telling me the order was canceled.
