If I could give 0 stars, I would. Placed an online order for 3 dozen harry potter donuts on a Friday for pickup on Saturday morning at the Gambrills location, paid online. Drove 30 minutes to the location, stood in line for 30 minutes only to be told they didn't have any Harry Potter donuts. Manager said they didn't get the supplies to make them. Asked why they didn't notify me, said they just canceled the order this morning. When will I get my refund? If they didn't have the supplies, I shouldn't have even been allowed to order them. Awful customer service. Harry Potter has a huge following, don't advertise specialty donuts if you can't keep up with the demand and don't allow something to be ordered online if you won't have them available.

This was by far the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at a Krispy Kreme. I placed an online order for a half dozen donuts, expecting them to be ready when I arrived. Instead, I ended up waiting in line for over 30 minutes inside the store just to pick up my order.
Not once did any staff member acknowledge the long line of customers or provide updates about the wait time. In customer service, even the smallest gesture acknowledging customers, reassuring them they’ll be helped makes a huge difference. That did not happen here.
The lack of leadership and customer service was very clear. No direction, no communication, and no urgency. For a company as established as Krispy Kreme, this level of service is unacceptable. I’ve visited other locations and never experienced anything close to this.

All the good reviews must’ve been written by the employees family members that were hanging out in there eating free doughnuts, because this place is terrible! It starts with the extremely rude manager (green shirt in attached pic). The floors and surfaces were extremely dirty and it looked like a construction zone. I had placed an order three days prior for my kids birthday party and drove over an hour to pick up, and they didn’t have 13 of the 15 donuts I ordered nor the ingredients to make the three coffee drinks. For the 2 doughnuts they did have, the woman at the counter said if I wasn’t happy with not getting my doughnuts, then I couldn’t have those either. She took them out of the display and threw them in the trash. When I asked for a refund for my prepaid doughnuts, the manager yelled at me, turned her back to me, and walked away. If anyone can identify her from the pic, she needs to be fired for creating a hostile environment, fostering hate, allowing incompetence and waste, and having terrible customer service.

Drive through was closed and no sign was visible stating. Donuts stashed everywhere inside, needs to be cleaned better. Customer service was lacking.

If the main thing you sell is donuts then you should consistently have donuts right? This Krispy Kreme has gotten progressively worse. They are usually out of most donuts by 10am and rarely have the specialty donuts. The staff is rude and the management is ruder. This place used to be fantastic, it sucks it has fallen so far.

Dirty and unorganized. They are out of some of the Harry Potter donuts which isn’t a big deal but the girl was rude and lackadaisical about the entire interaction. She told me to wait 30 minutes for glazed donuts after I already waited thirty mins for the Harry Potter donuts. Magically the other staff appeared with the glaze donuts. Couldn’t give change. Worst part was having to look at the girls lips. She had spit built up in the corners of her lips and I was scared for the donuts. Never again. Also the manager was barking orders rudely to the bakers and hiding in the back not helping the overwhelmed front staff.

Trash location. The workers are sloppy, the building is disgustingly dirty, and it’s hit or miss if they’ll open on time. If you do have a need to go here do yourself a favor and hit the drive thru so you don’t have to see the inside…

Was at the Crofton store at 6:10 AM this morning. Went out of my way to stop before work to get teachers some donuts. Your Employees were there, the inside & drive thru were not open. Your website says you open at 6AM. Very disappointing.

I’m back 5 years later due to a watch party special. The lobby was closed and it seemed to be a mess. The donuts were fresh and tasty but noticeably smaller (see photo). Perhaps that’s the $7 special but I’d prefer to get a regular sized donut.

I am so alarmed and disappointed the staff did not have on mask or gloves at the drive thru. Krispy Kreme should do better for their employees and customers. Gave them 2 stars because I left and did not get donuts. Wasn’t worth the risk.

I drove 30 minutes for the special Harry Potter doughnuts and ordered what was available online at the time: 2x Slytherin, 2x Ravenclaw, and 2x Hufflepuff. I placed the order at 7:48am for an 8:05 pickup to avoid the lines since I had work and to make sure I got the ones showing as available. When I arrived at 8:36, my order wasn’t prepared. I was told to wait in line, and after 15 minutes was informed the Hufflepuff doughnuts (which cost more) weren’t available. Another guest ahead of me, who had placed her order even earlier than mine, was told the same thing. Even now, the website still shows them in stock, though the store confirmed they aren’t. No refunds were offered—only substitutions from a nearly empty case with doughnuts that didn’t look fresh. Staff were unhelpful and unapologetic, which made an already frustrating situation worse.

This location is terrible. Half of the time they are closed inside and make you go through the drive. Thru. They don’t have the advertised donuts and today they had glazed only.
