After 4 visits now I'm inclined to review. This place has some GREAT sushi. Service is always friendly and prompt. Weekdays are easy to just walk in and sit down.. when i took my bf on a Saturday night, the place was packed, but our wait was only 7-10mins. I'm a fan of the vegetable gyoza and i am not a vegetarian but it's so tasty i don't even care to try the meat version. Lobster miso was a hefty portion with a whole (mini) lobster tail in it. The mojito roll is probably my favorite roll ive had anywhere because the lime in it stands out. My bf said the playboy roll was the best he's ever had.. it was very tasty and came with a little 'show'. Drinks are well made too!

Very pretty inside. The sushi was good. The chopsticks were very "fat" so they were difficult to use, especially with the rectangle rolls I got. Unique presentation for sure. Nice staff. I went right when they first opened so no one else was there. Fish was fresh. The eel sauce was really good. Their soy sauce dispenser dispensed way too fast. I'd go back and try some other things. Got the Eel Salmon Cake Roll and the Treasure Box Roll.

Food is very fresh.Difficult to get seating. They need a bigger restaurant. A little pricey but worth it.
Otani is fancy sushi! Each dish is plated so beautifully perfect. Not only do they care about their aesthetic, but their sushi is incredibly flavorful. With that said, Otani is a bit pricey but well worth the splurge.

If you're looking for a quiet place to enjoy some sushi in Crofton, I think this is place to go! It's not super fancy but I enjoyed the sushi, the fish was fresh & food came out in a decent amount of time. I also like the tempura shrimp, it's a decent size & love the panko breading.
