I have been a few times now. Twice in the main dining room several times in the back bar/speakeasy. Every visit has been a joy both in the food and the atmosphere. The staff is attentive and friendly without being overbearing. The food has always been fantastic. The beef bourgeon and mussels are amazing. The open face hamburger (I don't remember what it was listed as on the menu) was heavenly. The best hamburger I have ever had. The sauce tempted me to lick my plate....
Waitress was wonderful and pleasant. The chef spent time talking to us at our table and shared w others in the area. Everyone was getting the royal treatment. Agua fresco was a nice extra touch. The steak frites was spectacular! Great experience.
Beware!!!! I was in a group of 4 senior citizens. The food was good but when we received our individual checks , the total was more than I thought. The check did not have an itemized list. I put a tip on it My mistake was that I should have questioned why I didn’t get an itemized bill I went home to check the menu online.i really felt that we were taken advantage of.
