I love this place!! Their crispy pork is to die for! Perfect amount of fat and meat ratio. Flavor is there. Very clean place and people were really nice. Went there a couple times and would again!

We spotted this restaurant and decided to investigate. Yelp gave 4 stars. The food was not bad at all except you might want to avoid the seafood rice. I ordered scallops, shrimp over rice. The waiter called it seafood rice. It was all chopped up and tasted fishy. Was it fish sauce or spoiled? Sweet and sour is one thing, good and bad is another. If this happens, you may want to change it. I will say soy sauce saved the day. The service was very good except with an slight edge of attitude. Also, they forgot our pork fried won ton. They may or may not have charged us. The crispy fried beef , shrimp balls, spring rolls, egg drop soup and Peking duck were very good and tasty. We had to call the waitress three times cause she was involved in her stories on tv (not really mad about that though) besides she was really nice. I gave three stars because wemight return in the future and try again. Next time we will study the photos on Yelp first. To be fair, we took the remaining food (it was a lot) home and fed two members at our house. There were no complaints!

Horrible greasy food. We spent closed to $70 and unfortunately the quality was not good. We hope they get better than just sweet and sour chicken.

Seriously THE BEST Chinese food in Germantown. Matter fact, in Maryland! Wow just wow. Soo happy I finally found a great Chinese spot. Also they are absolutely the kindest people ever. I brought my kids in to pick up my order and they were soo sweet and loving towards my children. Thank you soo much!!

Found this nice little place for Cantonese dishes near by.. will be coming back here more often to try out their dishes. So far had the traditional salty fish with chicken and eggplant clay pot, Yangzhou fried rice, roast duck, roast pork and roast pig belly. Roast duck was decent compared to Ranch 99 food court. But the roar pig, the skin wasn't crispy. Roast pork was more on the salty side. But beggars can't be choosers, right? It's not like we have tons of options here in MD compare to NYC :) Their portion size is much better than other Chinese / Asian restaurants here, the fried rice was enough to feed 2 grown boys and me.

Ordered takeout from New Village, and found it to be just okay. Definitely didn't order anything out of the ordinary (because kids), though. Who knows, maybe if I ordered different items my take on New Village would be different. But for now, I thought they were just okay.Ordered BBQ pork (char siu), chicken lo mein, and beef broccoli. As mentioned, everything was just standard. Out of the items ordered, the BBQ pork was definitely the favorite. The beef in the beef broccoli dish was tender, just wish there was more of it. Lo mein again was just okay. Nothing that wowed me.Order was ready at the designated time, which I appreciated. With so many options for Chinese food in the area, not sure I'll make my way over to New Village again.

Looked up the reviews. Looked like it was a good place. My friend and I enjoyed the food up until I felt a huge crunch in my mouth, and found out it was a little rock in my kung pao?! I'm sure it was an accident but I won't be there again. Sorry new village.

Gave me old leftover BBQ, the guy barely speaks any English on the phone. Stingy with the portion

had to wait about 15 minutes for food. kung pao chicken. eggrolls. hot and sour soup and pork egg fu young.portions were very generous but no rice was included for the kung pao. hot and sour soup was really sour. kung pao had no heat or flavor and lots of celery. egg fu young was decent.

After a few months of not eating out, my family finally decided to order takeout from this restaurant. We have visited this restaurant countless times in the past and they have yet to disappoint us with their attentive service and authentic dishes. A couple hours before we intended to pick up our food, we called to place our order and were pleased to discover that when we arrived a bit early, the food was already ready. Of course, since there was some time between when the food was prepared and consumed, there was a difference between when we had used to dine in and now for take out. Each dish was individually packaged in plastic containers with a hole cleverly made in containers where the food was supposed to be crispy. We ordered Pork Chow Mein, Roasted Pig with Black Mushroom & Bean Curd, Fried Scallop, Shrimp & Squid with Spicy Salt, Filet Mignon Chinese Style, Beef Chow Foon, Gee Chicken with Scallion, Roasted Duck, and Sliced Pig's Feet, Buddhist Delight. The chow mein had noodles thoughtfully packaged separately from the sauce and other wet components of the dish. This ensured that the crispy noodles did not get drenched in the sauce during transport. The pork was very tender and the sauce worked well with the crunchy noodles. The assortment of fried seafood, as always, was enjoyable with the crunchy, salty exterior and chewy seafood interior. The Chinese style filet mignon was slightly overdone but that may have been because of the amount of time from when it was prepared to eaten. However, the iconic red sauce was flavorful and tasty when mixed with white rice. The beef in the beef chow foon was slightly bland and could have been more juicy but the noodles themselves, with the crunchy bean sprouts, were delicious. The roasted duck's thick skin and meat were appreciably fatty and savory and overall, well cooked. The sliced pig's feet were a bit dry and although the ginger was a fun addition, there was proportionally too much of it present. However, the dish was an interesting, tasty combination of sweet ginger, vinegar, and pork. Other dishes that have not been mentioned were satisfactory and lived up to my expectations. For a family of four, the portion sizes for all nine dishes we ordered were large enough that the food lasted us more than two meals. For the most part, the food we ordered was delicious and I look forward to returning in the future!

The dishes we ordered here were delicious. The pan fried noodles dish is always one of my favorite. The chicken and eggplant in hot pot was nice. The service has always been welcoming and prompt. I will have to return to try some of the other classical Cantonese dishes.

The food here was good and the place had a nice ambiance. The staff was helpful and friendly. However the prices were a bit steep.
