New Village Reviews
Let's start with the easy part. Service was average, nothing to complain. Atmosphere was a little dull. The entrance looked like it had a huge fish tank before. The just filled it with a hanging paper display.
I ordered sesame chicken and General Tso's chicken. The reason for the low rating is the water. The complimentary tea tasted bad because you can actually taste the strong flavor of tap water. The cold glass of ice water had the same strong tap water taste. If you can...read full review
Fantastic place/ my favorite Chinese in MOCO.
Good solid Chinese food. I like the fried grouper fillet with salt seasoning the most. They also have roasted pork and duck. Average atmosphere and service. Large tables for big groups. It fills the Chinese food cravings.

New Village offers a mix of good and mediocre dishes. Some items, such as the dumpling soup and the Kung Po chicken and shrimp, may lack flavor and texture. However, other dishes like the Buddhist Delight, barbeque combo (crispy pork and duck), schezuan green beans, and house chow food are well-prepared and delicious. The barbeque combo stands out with its super crispy skin, while the French style filet mignon and rice noodle with beef are also popular choices. The service is generally friendly and fast, despite occasional language barriers and some issues with phone orders. The restaurant can get crowded, but the staff tries to keep up and provide good service. Although the atmosphere is simple, customers appreciate the effort made by the team. Parking can be a challenge due to the nearby bank.
