The Roast Coffee and Cafe

Ordered a medium black walnut latte- delicious flavor and nice bold coffee. Service with a smile and the order came out quick enough, however at $9 I’m not sure I’ll be back. Is this just how much coffee costs now??

Oof. What an uncomfortable experience. From the second you walk in the door, you just feel so unwanted and utterly disrespected by the staff. We parked out front and were stunned by the cool atmosphere and space they have to work with. The employees have awful energy and there is a zero percent chance we’ll be back. Good luck.

Really cute little local cafe. They use Ceremony roasters for their coffee and pastries are from Woodlea Bakery. Outdoor seating is plentiful and overlooks nice scenic countryside. Very friendly service.

Stopped by while in the area to try the coffee. This place is really quaint and has warm, nostalgic vibes. Limited seating inside; plenty outside. The man at the counter greeted me by saying "what's up" he acted irritated when taking my order. My husband asked him a question about the shop, and he replied " I don't know, I'm not from this area"
My coffee was mediocre at best. I paid 7.40 for a 12oz iced salted caramel coffee. Full of iced and nothing special. I'll just stick with Starbucks. Overpriced and rude staff, in my opinion.
This could've been a nice place if staff was friendly and coffee not so pricey.

Fantastic little cafe with a great vibe and friendly staff. They carry local roaster Ceremony coffee and know how to pull a proper shot as well. I'll be coming back regularly!

Cold brew and lattes are always on point. Additionally the sunrise sando is 10/10! Strongly recommend.

Cute place to take a drive out tonthe country and have a relaxing cup of coffee. I had the pumkin spice, Latta. The whip cream tasted homemade. Best Latta I've had.

The person who took my order was not friendly. I got a latte and a BEC breakfast sandwich. Both were fine but not good necessarily. I do like how they have lots of outdoor seating, but the tables and chairs were scattered around outside. Similar scattered feeling inside. Probably will not go back

Just a beautiful venue to sit down and share with friends

I heard about this place while I was hiking at Cromwell Valley park this morning. I decided to drive up Glen Arm Rd. to find the coffee/cafe shop they talked about. What an awesome place! If you are looking for an out of town/city experience try The Roast. I ordered the Station BLT and an iced latte with oat milk. Absolutely the best BLT I’ve ever had in my 60+ years! This is my kind of cafe. I will be going back to try other sandwiches & wraps. I loved everything about this place. What gem for this area! I love that I can drive a short distance and feel like I am far away from it all. ❤️
