Fortune Cooky Restaurant

I will never again go here...It was positively disgusting! I ordered the orange chicken lunch combo which was chicken jerky fried with dried orange skins tossed in it. Their fried rice was nothing more than plain rice slathered in soy sauce and maybe an egg tossed in. The egg roll was basically taking a burrito shell and then dumping the contents of a normal-sized taco on it wrapping it up then frying it. And I'm fairly certain the shrimp toast was just an open-face grilled cheese with some sort of shrimp-flavored paste-like substance. I threw away 90% of it, a total waste of money. This place should be called Unfortunate Cookie!

We have been coming to Fortune Cooky since 1984. The food is delicious, great service and a nice atmosphere!

First time here, ordered the crispy beef and some shrimp toast. Wasn't bad. The crispy beef was like general tsos chicken but thin strips and beef instead of chicken, thonit tasted the same as I think it was covered in the same sauce and had the same crunchy texture.

I recently dined at Fortune Cooky Restaurant and enjoyed their Szechuan beef lunch meal immensely. The dish was incredibly flavorful and satisfying. Both the food and service were top-notch, making it an ideal dining spot for families for both lunch and dinner. I highly recommend Fortune Cooky Restaurant for a delicious and enjoyable dining experience.

We ordered at least 2x a month when we lived in Glen Burnie in the early 2010s and have since moved out of their delivery area. Tonight we drove there to pick up take out ordered for 6:45 but not ready until 7:15. They were definitely in the weeds with too many orders and doing their best. The food was better than we remembered, cost less than any other sushi/Chinese take out in the area and their customer service was great. Totally worth the wait and we’ll be back!

I have been in many Chinese restaurants because I like Chinese food a lot. I can tell fortune cooky restaurant is one of the best restaurants.The food was delicious and Andrew who served us was very polite and he knew how to serve.

The best shrimp egg foo young. I have tried 4 other Chinese food restaurants in the last 6 months and none of them have been better then this. The shrimp are a nice size and everything is cooked perfectly and there gravy is my favorite and the portions are perfect..I went to 4 other restaurants 2 in Anne Arundel CountyBurnie and 2 on the eastern shore and none of them were better then fortune cooky!!. They are very friendly I have only gotten there shrimp egg foo young but everything else always looks good too

On September 17, 2024 My nieceand her grandmother both experience food poising from this place. We were told it was the rice by the doctor. If they don't make fresh don't eat it!!!! Been eating there for years, however this time was horrible. My niece suffered from tumultuous vomiting and her grandmother experienced severe nausea. Eat here at your own risk!!!
