Order took 15m to come out with 3 people ahead of me.
Ordered Combination Fried Rice and Shrimp with Lobster Sauce lunch special, both were shockingly delicious.
Food was really good
This is the closest thing I found to old school New York Chinese food (those who know, know) adjusting for inflation the pricing is solid and the food is solid. It's like a bite of nostalgia 😂

New China Wok II is a take-out only restaurant located in a gas station, known for its nostalgic New York Chinese food. Customers appreciate the solid pricing and the variety of dishes on the menu. The restaurant offers a range of options including House Special Egg Foo Young, House Special Fried Rice, and General Tso’s chicken. The fried rice is particularly praised for its great flavor and generous portions of chicken, shrimp, and roast pork.
While some dishes like the sweet and sour chicken and bourbon chicken receive positive feedback for their taste and portion sizes, there are occasional complaints about overcharging and order mix-ups. Some diners found the General Tso’s chicken to have too much breading, and others noted that certain items, like the Egg drop soup, could use more seasoning. However, the crispy shrimp egg rolls and properly folded rangoons, which contain both real and imitation crab, are highlights for many.
Overall, the friendly customer service and the quality of the food make New China Wok II a spot worth visiting for those craving traditional Chinese take-out, despite its small size and take-out only format.
