I got my parents a gift card and made reservations, in the reservation saying it wasy parents anniversary celebration, could they give them a quiet table. They did that and so very much more. My mom can't stop talking about how incredible they were, how special she felt, how incredible the food was and how she had 3 wait staff, one in training but she had never felt so special in her life. Her excitement and joy makes me smile and I want everyone to know that Rusty Scupper could have set them in a nice table and said Happy Anniversary, that would have been great service but what they did was make an unforgettable memory for my parents. Going above and beyond, thank you Rusty Scupper staff, thank you so very much. You gave my parents an experience that is above and beyond "like something out of a movie" mom keeps saying!!!!“

“I love this place! It’s right by my work, so I order from there pretty often. I love their coffee—I always go light on sweetener, and somehow they always get it just right. Just a touch of sweetness without overpowering the coffee flavor. The blueberry muffin is amazing, too. I’ve tried almost all of their sandwiches, and they’re all great. You definitely can’t go wrong ordering from this place.“

In 6 years I've seen Atwater's with a great track record for hiring and training members of its team. But I'd like to credit two in particular today. Joey, the new manager settled into his role quickly just this year and is very engaging, friendly, and happy to help customers directly alongside his team. Alyssa is another fantastic worker and leader in the team. Always paying attention and focused on keeping everything in order and working efficiently. The whole team performs well. But she routinely performs above the standard.“

“As far as Subways go, this place is the best! Extremely friendly, fast, and clean. The older gentlemen -- John, I think -- is fast and always professional and courteous. I think its his wife -- Deb, maybe? -- who's on the register is always pleasant. The food is to Subway standard and they always make it exactly the way I want it, with speed and care. This is the BEST subway in the area.“

“My wife and I decided at the last minute to go out on a Saturday evening and we picked Marie Louise Bistro for dinner. We sat outside and had a genuinely wonderful meal! While you often see the same staff there for years, our server this time was young and new to the industry. Despite that, you could tell she had received training from the other staff, and she did a fantastic job. A very good sign! She had another waiter show her how to open and pour the wine, but aside from that we’d have barely known she was new to the job. As for the food, it was excellent. I’d give 9 or 10 out of 10 for everything and my wife enjoyed her meal too. I had a 3-course that included a surf and turf special, and my wife had duck confit. It’s incredibly reasonably priced for the quality of food IMO. A gem of a restaurant! If any of you reading this have never been then I’d definitely recommend a visit!“

“i love their salads which I get every Tuesday. but Everytime I get my salad which is always chicken Ceasar salad, I always have item missing or made wrong. one time chicken salad in my ceaser salad that was gross, no bread, and now no chicken after my order was read back and I stated I want chicken in my salad only reason I get these.“

He was thorough, shared about all the specials and answered all our questions with no irritation (we had a lot). We have since moved in and he’s always checking in, he’s truly made us feel comfortable at the Porter. We love it so far !“
