Yeah this aināt it, coming from HipHop in the PG area to trying to location because I just moved here, itās like night and day, the fish was hard, fries soggy, Mac and cheese was warm , and my Bread at the bottom was wet.

First let me start by saying, eating here got me extremely sick. Even as I was looking around paying for my food maybe 2 hours after they opened the entire kitchen was just dirty. Food, breading, flour everywhere. Baskets of cooked fries and fish just sitting over the oil waiting to be refried. And the two gentlemen who helped me were rude and seemed very nonchalant to be working there. Iāve worked in fast food for a few years and I know thereās usually a bit of cleaning that needs to be done overnight and in between rushes. Especially for an open eye view kitchen like this location. But the way it looked I wouldnāt be surprised if the dishes were dirty from the night before. I ordered chicken, fish & gizzards. The fries in each box was hard and dried out. The fish was extremely soggy (usually theyāre crispy which I love) and the chicken I bit into was raw.. you canāt serve pink chicken. The picture does no justice but Iāve been vomiting from food poisoning for 2 days from eating at this location. And itās on me I shouldāve ran when I saw how dirty the kitchen was. Hope they can reach out to me and refund the $30+ I wasted here.
I have been a fan of Hip Hop Fish & Chicken for a few years and at one point frequented them weekly. Recently, however, they seem to be declining in the quality of their food. Smaller wing sizes and filet sizes. Disappointed in my last meal overall. Not sure if I'll repeat as this has been a declining situation for a while now.
It's been a minute since I last had HHFC. On this instance, the seasoning was fantastic! The portion sizes were great too. Lastly, the fish design is always adorable.
Somehow, they managed to make dark meat dry. Fries tasted like it been fried in the old oil. Never again.

Ordered from the Crane Hwy location and I have to say this was the worst meal we have ever had. The fries & chicken were old and not fully cooked. They gave us the wrong side dish after confirming the order. The chicken smelled so bad by that night that we had to toss it out. Food was not fresh at all, collard greens were bland. We are so disappointed we wasted money on this awful food. You're better off cooking your own food. First and last time we eat here. Someone should do a health and safety inspection on that place.
