The food is pretty decent. Today i was surprised to see Vegan stew peas on the menu. Typical Stew Peas has pig tail in it. I got excited. But as a fellow Jamaican, they need to find another recipe because it is NOT stew peas. When I got home, warmed up some rice to go with it, i was so disappointed when i took the first taste. It tastes like peas from a can with some sort of sauce or something. There is no dumplin, yam, carrots or anything appealing. I threw it right in the trash. Im glad i didnt order a large. I was so upset because its hard to get stew peas anywhere in the DMV. Dat Jerk, you need to find a better recipe. No Jamaican would approve of this Stew Peas ever. Who approve this recipe???

The food was definitely not giving authentic Jamaican food. I didn't enjoy, maybe someone who doesn't know real Jamaican food would enjoy but its a no for me

My family is from the Caribbean and this food is well prepared. The facility is clean and their portions are fair. My go-to is the honey like jerk salmon, peas and rice, and veggies. You're welcome in advance.

The environment has plenty of room to sit and eat but it's not as inviting. Utensils and napkins have to be requested.

Went for the first time in a long time. They are now charging $24 for 4 oxtail pieces. I watched them count it out one by one. It’s crazy. And the taste and authenticity of the food has also seemed to diminish.

Ordered the Oxtail Bowl Peas n Rice with mixed Vegetables.... Not an ounce of caribbean, seasoning, barely salted or peppered.This is the most seasonless caribbean food that I have ever had... Never had this experience with Chef Robs Carribbean Cuisine.

I got the chance to visit dat jerk with my father recently. I gave him the option going to silver diner or dat jerk. It took a sec for us to get our bearings but we were overall pleased with the options we ordered. The restaurant was very clean and had large portions of food which I believe matched the cost of food. I loved the roti. The wrap itself complimented the flavors inside. I opted to get the sauce on the side which was not the play since it wasn’t enough. Definitely won’t make that mistake again. They had a friendly staff that helped to guide us through the menu. I definitely look forward to going back.

I got the jerk chicken with white rice and gravy and it was absolutely delicious. A lot of food for the price as well.

First time here and it will probably be my last. Came in around 3:30pm on a weekday when it was dead and yet was still missing a side with my order. Also, the chicken was beyond dry … best thing I can say is that their rude boy sauce is bomb.

This location owes me over $20, and I am still waiting for a response after a week. Long story short, there were over 30 minutes late in preparing my meal based on the online promise. When I asked about the order, they said that they had not even begun my order (despite not being busy), and the manager did not offer an apology. Instead, he insisted that the refund could only be done online. I emailed and am still waiting.

I walk in, super excited to try out Dat Jerk for the first time. The employees are nice, everything LOOKS good. But then as I check out, I see that $20 price. I’m like wow, this food MUST be amazing. As I’m currently sitting in the parking lot of the establishment, eating my food, I now realize this is the worst jerk chicken I’ve ever had in my life. As a proud Caribbean, this place is a disgrace. The mac and cheese has no flavor other than the cheese. The rice & peas were alright. But the jerk chicken was the driest chicken I’ve ever tasted. It’s almost as if there are NO Jamaican's in the back cooking…. Don’t eat here.
