It was my first occasion to experience Lambert. The service was slow. The server, I believe her name was Briana. She was not our assigned server, but she realized that we had been there for a while. She was outstanding. The confusion could have been that we did not know that staff seated you. The food is amazing. That and Bri makes this place a must go, too. When I am in town visiting my daughter.

Service was terrible. They would bring food , but no eating utensils. Servers would walk by us in a nearly empty place and act like they didnt hear or see members of our party trying to hail them. At one point, I got up to actually talk to a waitress, and she turned away quickly and acted like SHE didnt see me. But, I hve to say, the food was REALLY good. Salads were fresh, entrees were well-proportioned, nicely prepared, and full of flavor. The place was clean, and so were the plates, cups, eating utensils. Id never patronize this place again, but the food WAS good.

Fried catfish is somewhat greasy, lump crab not a thrill. Onion rings nope greasy over cooked. The steamed shrimp was delicious. Clam chowder was good. It's a simple laid back place. Servers are kind.

Did a pick up order. Nice local feel to the place. Friendly staff. Chose due to the overall good reviews. Not sure if it just the day but the food had mixed reviews from the family. Got the shrimp and crab salad. Didn’t taste fresh. Shrimp had a weird after taste. Tried the crabcakes. Had a strange taste at the end as well. A couple of us liked it. Two of us tossed ours (we love crab cakes btw). Rest of the food was okay. May give it another try in the future but there are definitely better crabcakes out there. Rooting for them since they are local.
