“My wife and I had the opportunity to dine in your restaurant this evening. We chose an early dinner to have time to relax and enjoy the view. I had to write and tell you what a fantastic experience we had. Hannah was our server and she was a shining example of hospitality and great service. Not over bearing but there to see what we needed or how things were food wise. She alone would be our reason for coming back. But the food was absolutely incredible. From the hush puppies, wings, crab cakes and blackened chicken, everything was cooked to perfection and tasted incredible. Not normally dessert eaters, Hannah sold us on two of your deserts! The apple cobbler and tiramisu cheesecake! Again, both were flawless. Please share this with your BOH staff as I know they are often overlooked and of course we sing our praises to Hannah! “This was our first time eating here. And I must say everything was delicious. We had the shrimp nachos and Texas fajitas. ALL AMAZING! The shrimp were huge. And after having a hard day at work those margaritas hit the spot and were exactly what I needed. The staff was very friendly. Our server was awesome. Beautiful little restaurant. We can’t wait to come back.“

“I stop in every now and then for a great burger or a Rootbeer float. Always prompt service and well made food. During traffic it's a little busy getting into Callaway from Chancellors, but that just depends on the time of day.Bacon cheeseburger, crispy and fresh fries, and rootbeer. Perfection!!

Wheelchair accessibility: I am handicap, but don't use a mobility device. There is parking and room in the gas station, but might be a bit crowded in the aisle for dine-in.“

“First Checkers I've been to in years. One in Virginia folded about ten plus years ago. Great food... best fries I've had in ages. Grandkids loved it. It was expensive.. $50 on average for 2 adults, 2 kids. Drive thru was awful.. cramped, hard to navigate. Service was very slow. Ten minutes plus each visit.

Parking: Mainly the drive thru... very tight maneuvering.. not a lot of room.“
