This was the second time we went to this iHop; first we were a large party, there 17 of us, they should have assigned a seasoned server, not a new one to our party. But that isn't what happened, they assigned the a new server, she did her best, but it was most definitely overwhelming for her. Usually, you are given your drinks before the food comes, that didn't happen, everything came out at once, food, and drinks and three of us never received our drinks (coffee). Two orders were incorrect, several orders didn't make to the table till everyone else had eaten. It was just not a good look for the restaurant. My grandson asked one of the other servers for a take away container, he never bought the container, we had to ask several times before the container was bought. My daughter had to send back her plate because the food was cold. My son in law requested a burger with turkey bacon and they still put pork bacon on the sandwich...it had to be sent back; My husband, daughter and grandson, didn't even receive their food till everyone else had eaten. My husband ended up taking his food home because it came so late. To be honest one of the worse experiences I have ever had at an iHop. I don't blame the server...the manager should have assigned a seasoned server or at least given the poor girl some help. The food really was mediocre at best.

Worst customer service. Asked for no mushrooms but I got mushrooms. Talked to the manager and she wasn't concerned about this issue. She just wanted to clarify if I was going to pay. Terrible, terrible, terrible service!!

Horrible service they try to sugar coat their mistakes I highly recommend do not come to this establishment. Manager on duty has no clue what her minions are doing. Running a clown show is not good business.

I’m disappointed. I had to wait 38 minutes for pancakes and an apple juice. If a server didn’t notice I had been there a long time while people came and go I fear my order may have been forgotten. Pancakes are cold too, which is why I had no choice but to share my experience.

I’m one to barely leave bad reviews but today my visit to the ihop in greenbelt was just very bad. I ordered the cali turkey sandwich , when biting into it I can immediately tell the turkey was not good. I took the turkey off the sandwich to inspect and it had a rancid smell to it. I tried picking out the turkey and eating the sandwich without turkey but I could still taste that awful flavor the turkey left. I set the plate to the side since I lost my appetite after having the turkey. Is there any sort of quality check / control before service? The server never once checked on us after all the food was delivered. We could’ve used some extra napkins and another beverage or another entree. I sat there while my wife was finishing her breakfast. Normally at other places servers check on their tables to make sure everything is good. She never came by to check on us or ask if we’d like anything else. When she FINALLY checked on us after so much time had passed it was to bring the bill and a box…. Can you believe that ? When I was explaining to her the situation with the sandwich she didn’t let me finish and immediately said something along the lines of “I’ll bring the manager over” no apologies or anything. The manager was super kind, apologized , cleared the plates and removed the item from the check. The server who was a lady in her 60s with glasses and long braided hair brought over the receipt and stood over me while I was signing it pointing to the suggested tip twice explaining that’s the suggested tip. I’m not sure if this is what they do to pressure someone to tip them well. I didn’t really care that she was standing over me I wrote $3 , only because I wasn’t if it was a tip pool for the employees or not. There was a kind male white server who bought the coffee over , poured it for us , and bought the food over to the table. Even after I wrote the $3 she asked me what that was on the tip line and I told her it was a 3 on the tip line. She then Again told me about the suggested tip which I replied “I’m not following the suggested tip” she then left upset. Why are you expecting over $8 of tip? I’m one to tip very well but the service was not good at all from her part. $53 for a horrible breakfast . Pay attention to the details.

Simple question. How do you not pack syrup for 2 pancake platters? Then the manager says if you don't request it you don't get it. Both Dennys and McDonalds pay enough detail to their carry out orders that they pack syrup for pancakes. I understand now the low rating you have.

Ordered food. My mom got hers ok. My bros got theirs ok. I order for my kid and they bring him the adult version. He's a kid. I wanted the kid experience for him. It makes no sense.
This is the best IHop we have ever eaten. Juan greeted us and sat us down right away. The servers attended to us right away and the food was absolutely delicious!!! We had an issue at another location and management invited us to come back,and they gave us the royal treatment. We have now found a new home location, for life!
Came here for Sunday breakfast. About a 10 minute wait good service good food no complaints

During that time, we noticed other tables that arrived after us being served promptly. Unfortunately, we were never approached by a server, so we decided to leave. The lack of attention was frustrating and disappointing, and I hope management addresses these issues to improve service in the future."
