For the last few weeks since the arrival of a new female Barista, Lyanei, the service has been extremely slow. I have been late work, because I have waiting on drinks even though they were call ahead mobile orders. She prefers chatting than making drinks. I stood at the register while she talked about another customer. There was no greeting.

I am disappointed with the service here. I asked for a Lavender Matcha late and they told me they don’t have that so I asked if I can have strawberry flavor and the guy in the register said yes. I asked for a large one with light ice but I ended paying extra for the strawberry flavor and he ordered a medium size. When I told him that I ordered large he wanted to charge extra again for his mistake, very upset, not returning

I recently visited Starbucks located in Greenway center today and I'm a frequent customer and the service is always amazing, but not today I was not satisfied with the cashiers customer service she seemed to have an attitude. I placed my order with her and not one time did she ask me if I had a Starbuck app to collect points or ask for my name for my order, the energy was so off I was just ready to be in and out ASAP!
I normally goto the location in DC by my job, because this one never delivers the same quality drinks. I order the shaken espresso everytime, and this time she had preshaken it and poured it into my cup with melted ice, so now I have slightly iced coffee instead of what I ordered :( I didn't bother asking her to remake it because she didn't seem in the mood. Maybe next time will be better, but I will stick to the DC location if I can help it.

When I ordered, I forgot to specify a size and the server decided to give me the largest size possible. Seems predatory and unfair, I will not be coming back. They also have 3 different places to pick up drinks/food and it was confusing.

The only pleasant thing about this location are the people who made my drinks and took my order. Everything in between was complete chaos waiting around for my drink. I looked at a cup and asked for the price to see if it was on sale and was told the prices at the bottom also I went to the end of the bar closest to the door waiting for my muffin and a guy looked at me and said do you have a mobile order I said no but I’m waiting for my muffin and you’re making Pastries right here so I figured I would wait here and he says no you’re supposed to wait down there at the end, I digress with that situation so I asked the lady to check the price of the cup and she’s like oh we’re really busy and backed up. I’m sorry while she’s holding a clipboard bullshitting doing nothing. It took me five minutes to wait for my drink and an extra five minutes on top of it to wait for my pastry item because the guy is down here doing mobile orders instead of taking care of the people that are standing in front of him.

Very slow to say the least…had a pickup order & it took over 20 mins to make one drink. Wasn’t busy or anything. The barista even went as far to make her own drink before leaving the other struggling barista for the day. Weird…

Tried the new Cherry chai!! So good
It was shown as open online, however it was closed when we came.
We’ve been here when the staff has been incredibly sweet to my children. Those were good experiences. Yesterday was not one of those.
Dear Starbucks Employee:
If you have the chance to make someone’s day better, please take it. When sweet, non-misbehaving, and polite children try to engage you in friendly play (which you initiated at a previous visit and they were excited to re-engage in because they thought you liked them and they thought they liked you) and you brush them off dismissively, you’ve needlessly hurt two little hearts. How you treat powerless people matters. Children are powerless. All day long, adults—who have a lot of power over them—treat them like they’re invisible or annoying nuisances. Children are human beings. Don’t say things to them you wouldn’t say to an adult. Starbucks drinks and food don’t matter and I know you don’t care whether I spend money on overpriced drinks and mediocre food or not. But the human interactions do matter. People matter. PG county is a hard place to live. Life is hard in general and especially hard right now.
If you have the chance to be kind, take it. It matters.

Worst experience of my life, I’ve been coming here for decades never have I ever had been made an example of and had the cops called on me for a cake pop. Needs new management. Management too young doesn’t know how to handle sensitive situations.
This has got to be the worst location I’ve ever been to in the DMV. Unfriendly service, not cleanest and drinks are always a hit or Miss causing me to request for drink to be remade. This location needs a revamp of workers and course on a professionalism and customer service.
One bathroom is filthy, no soap. Second is “unavailable” as per staff who said it with a smirk. Staff members wearing regular street clothes, not uniform/apron as expected at Starbucks.
Starbucks lover here lol! I stopped in here for an afternoon pick me up and grabbed a hazelnut and vanilla macchiato. Service was great! The staff were pleasant and quick. I ended up finding a few cute novelties to make as stockings stuffers for the holidays. Good experience and even better macchiato!
