I love this restaurant/bakery. I have been eating there for at 15 years. When working at NASA it was my go to lunch or take home dinner spot. Yesterday, I drove out from DC to get chicken patties for my daughter and a curry chicken lunch special with deserts for me. Today, I had zucchini bread for breakfast. Love Denny and his wife, they have always been warm and welcoming.
They refused to honor advertised special. Lunch is advertised up until 3:00 pm. My order was placed online prior to the 3:00 deadline and 10 minutes later, they cancelled it. Pretty pathetic to advertise something and then not honor it. Hard to give my money to places that show poor integrity. Most especially in these times. I'll go and make my own food now.

The staff is really what has me coming back to Weakness for Sweetness has a great set of people, they are wonderful and so sweet and always working hard!!! It is also very busy at this location and the employees are just so darn nice and great! Thank you!!!! My aunt recommended this place and I’ve been coming ever since. When my mom comes in town, she goes. They are open from Monday - Saturday and now Sundays, I’m there!! Ackee & Saltfish, Callaloo, Patties, Corn beef & Cabbage, etc. From their food, homemade desserts and custom juices they have everything you need to feed your entire family. This staff is the best, the food is amazing and the price is right!!! We will see you soon….

The food is very good but customer service is the worse especially the girl at the register with the pink hair and the rag on her head bad attitude, I won’t eat there again nor recommend them to anyone

I ordered Oxtail dinner for takeout over the phone, when she said 5 minutes, I should have not even picked up my food. Before I left taste my food and the rice was room temperature, the oxtails was warm, I fill so bad that I even spent $29 in this place. It was raining and all I wanted was some comfort food, this definitely didn’t comfort me. Never again.

The food at this place is absolutely disgusting! The jerk chicken does not take like jerk chicken, the rice and peas are horrible. The workers there have nasty attitudes and are not helpful at all. This is the worst Jamaican food that I have ever tasted. I spoke with the owner and he got an attitude with me. I recommend to everyone looking for good Jamaican food to go the Jerk Pit or Jerk at Nite and do not go to Weakness for Sweetness. I also felt sick after eating their food. I will never return to this restaurant.

Honestly the food itself is tasty but I just found a literally huge chunk of glass in my rice. I nearly bit it.
Very good vibes and Amazing great tasting food. Me and my family had been twice since moving in the area. We enjoy getting Caribbean food and dessert in one place. Thank you.

Man I wanna cuss so bad the time you have to wait for a curry goat Caribbean restaurants are usually food ready to go this is at peak hour lunch time nobody but 3 people in the store terrible my lunch break was over by the time I got my food,Food was good tho like a west Indian Jamaican combination cabbage is fire as well

I’ve heard that this place fell off so I ordered it myself just to see…. And they were completely right.
I got jerk chicken, yams and rice. The chicken was ok (4/10) the yams were terrible (0/10) and the rice was fine but I’ve had better (7/10).
Overall, I was so disappointed with the meal that I forgot to even take a pic bc I immediately trashed it. So yea, never again.
