Quirky/sketchy burger joint inside the beloved local landmark that is the quirky/sketchy Beltway Plaza Mall. Odd is the operative term here, but in a kinda good way. I'm bestowing a 4-star rating mainly because the burger was surprisingly good: big and juicy, reminiscent of the Five Guys style, but better. And less greasy than, say, Elevation Burger (and also less pretentious). The fry situation is out of control though: GIANT portions (even the medium - depicted here - was way too big for one person) and not particularly great. The cheese dog was decent, and also jumbo sized. Final verdict: definitely worth a journey into the Beltway Plaza Twilight Zone. Go check it out. You'll be amused.

The food is always consistent and one of my go stops. The fries are fresh the burgers and cheesesteaks are great. I typically only like cheesesteaks from non chain restaurants but these are pretty good. I grew up on authentic cheesesteaks if you know you know. The service is also consistent and friendly. I prefer here over five guys. I recommend the fries with extra seasoning.Parking: The parking is shared but you can easily find parking.
Z Burger truly impressed with its fantastic burgers and generous servings of large, delectable onion rings. The overall experience was top-notch, and the food was nothing short of "really good." A must-visit for burger enthusiasts!

Servers were cordial but seemed busy in the back and waited a few minutes before anyone acknowledged me and another customer. Since we were the only two standing there, the food came out quickly. Good burger but nothing about it was special or stands out. The bun was soggy, wrinkly and smashed so i assume it was recently pulled from the freezer. The onion rings were bland and oily to the point i ended up throwing most in the trash. At the price of $22 for a double burger, onion rings and a soda I'll never return for average food when I could get a steak meal for the same price. The location is inside the mall so its out of the way ; the security guard stand is in front of the restaurant and people lingering out front makes the atmosphere seem very ... undesirable.

First impression and what I like about this place is that everything is cooked to order. You walk in, place your order, and you really do have it your way. What I didn't like, was the wait time and how off putting this space felt. They worked with what they had space wise. There are some two seater booths that line the one wall and then there is a high top like table, they also had some tables and chairs that went out into the mall area.What was off putting was that right outside their space security sits. Makes you think you might be doing something not right. Once my food was ready I decided to dig in. I was a bit dismayed by the price I paid, that is until I saw the amount of food I received. This turned out to be a pretty big meal that kept me full for the rest of the day. The burger was amazing and all the toppings, which our of your choice, are fresh. You get a ton of fries which was a nicer proportionate helping to the burger. Drinks are either fountain or bottle, kind of all depends on if you are eating in house or taking it to go.With the space being a bit narrow, depending on where you sit, you might be near the trash area or condiment area. Which can and obviously is the busiest areas in the location.Staff were good at their job here and tended to the customers when they came in. Even when it was a large group of customers, which were a little more loud than needed to be. They were patient and made sure they got them out of the space as quickly as they could (remember, the food is cooked to order).
