Best Cheesesteak I’ve had in the area! So flavorful and good. Sometimes I add salt and pepper to all my cheesesteak subs but not this one, not needed at all, seasoned well, juicy and packed with meat. Highly recommend 40 west deli!

Lived here my whole life, and not once had I heard of this place or even noticed it was a restaurant, despite passing it countless times. However, after seeing the review here, I stopped in today with my daughter for our first visit, and we're already planning our next trip back! The burger was a huge hit with my husband and daughter (10/10), the soup was amazing (though I had to wrestle a taste from my daughter 😅), and the steak and cheese was the best I've ever had in Hagerstown. The friendly lady at checkout added to our enjoyment. This will undoubtedly become a new favorite spot for us 🥰

First time eating there.It was delicious, we had the cheese steak sub it was filled FULL.Could of made any sandwich..So yummy. Broccoli salad was the best. Will definitely be back.
It's a nice place to go they have good food an other things you might need! What I don't understand is why they closed!!

This place is a hidden gem!!!! The food is excellent no matter what you get and the amount of meat on the subs is crazy. It is all good!!!! I highly recommend stopping in and getting some good eats!!!!
