“The crabs were well cooked and well seasoned. I went on a Thursday for all you can eat blue crabs for $39.99, the service did not disappoint.
Our server was very attentive and made sure my plate stayed full. With the all you can eat crabs, you also get hush puppies, fries and or fried clam strips. I must admit, those were the best hush puppies I've ever had.
My husband had a steak with a baked potato and broccoli. He said the steak was very tender, cooked as asked but could have used more flavor.

During our long journey from the Outer Banks in North Carolina to Pennsylvania, we stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant conveniently located near Interstate 81 in Hagerstown. After reading glowing Google reviews, we decided to give it a try, and we are so glad we did!
From the moment we called to place our to-go order, the exceptional service was evident. The staff at Fosters were incredibly efficient and friendly, taking our order promptly over the phone. When we arrived just 15 minutes later, our food was coming out of the kitchen- talk about impressive service!
As we dug into our burgers, it was clear that we were in for a treat. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and the quality of the ingredients truly shone through. Our party of three all opted for burgers, and we were all absolutely delighted with our choices. Personally, I couldn't get enough of the delicious combination of egg and avocado on my Foster's burger - it was a taste sensation!
And let's not forget about the fries - they were simply to die for! Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and perfectly seasoned, they were the ideal accompaniment to our mouthwatering burgers.
Overall, our experience at Foster’s on The Point was nothing short of outstanding. The combination of top-notch service, delectable food, and cozy atmosphere made for a memorable dining experience that we won't soon forget. “Love this place I didn't actually go there this time I was actually at the eye doctor next door but I have eaten here twice and the barbecue is just the best I have ever had in my well nope never mind it is the second best I forgot about this one food truck I ran into and I think Myrtle Beach when I was a kid that was the best one but this was mission barbecue is definitely the second best I've ever had in my way so it is good. I don't think you'll be disappointed at all even if you're a hardcore barbecue person.
Parking: It's at the valley Mall in Hagerstown Maryland but actually technically it's halfway Maryland so if you put it in a GPS I'm sure either one would work but there are probably 50 parking spaces per row so we should have no problem finding parking space

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair ramp for the sidewalk and there is disabled parking the front of every single row that's close enough to mission BBQ and also I'm pretty sure they give a percentage to their profits to veterans I'm not 100% sure about that don't quote me on that but I am pretty sure some of their profits go somewhere good. I know that's not really part of the wheelchair thing but well I mean it kind of is thinking about it.”

“Riks is a total star. When you're standing in front of the restaurant you're in a parking lot of a an old shopping center. Once inside you're in a contemporary bar and restaurant. I believe that much of the work in creating the space was performed by the then staff, many of whom worked together with owners at a prior restaurant. The food is wonderful, creative, fresh and satisfying. My favorites include a smoked salmon salmon carpoccio (sorry about the spelling). A great selection of salads with the ability to. add to them crab cake chicken etc. The sandwiches range from a Reuben to a grilled mahi mahi .My favorite when I want a substantial dinner is their short ribs and mashed potatoes. Writing this review has just made me hungry. Guess where I'm going for an early dinner. Prices are VERY reasonable”

The shop itself used to be a bank branch. The sit down portion of the shop is always decorated for the season and has a chill vibe. The old bank vault inside is a special room that can be reserved for a small gathering. They also have outside seating in the courtyard area in front of the shop. There is water available in the courtyard for folks who bring their canine friend with them. They have a drive-thru at the back of the building, online ordering, a rewards program for purchases and free Wi-Fi.
At my last visit I chatted with Chris. Very nice guy. Don't underestimate the value of good conversation with the folks that own and work for our local businesses and support our communities.
Parking: Since the shop is located in the Longmeadow Shopping Center there is plenty of parking both in front of the courtyard area where the shop is and behind it. There is a wide open spot to walk through if you park behind the shop area that leads you to the courtyard and front door of the shop. For us locals that have been here all of our lives, the walk-through area is where the movie theater used to sit.
Kid-friendliness: My daughter loves coming here with me. Plenty of beverage options that don't have coffee or caffeine. Her favorite is an Italian soda.”

The first one, along with my first review, was for my son's 19th birthday, ☯️ design, chocolate cake with peanut butter icing. This cake was for my uncle's 64th! I told Dixie he loves metal detecting, and is a collector of his findings/old coins...she came up with an awesome quote and design. The flavor was simple, half vanilla, half chocolate, with a fluffy sugar icing that was delicious! Again, Dixie made another birthday celebration more memorable and special for our family and friends ?”

“I really like coming to this location in particular because of the waitresses. The one that we had on our last visit, this past Thursday, May 23, 2024, has waited on us in the past and she is always kind. She made sure we had everything we needed and came back several times to check on us and refill drinks as needed. I always enjoy looking thru the store there because they have a nice variety of things for sale. I love the beach things and the shirts. The candy is good too. Very reasonably priced too. If you're traveling thru that part of Western Maryland, the Hagerstown MD area, make sure you stop at that location! You won't regret it!”

“Love this place I didn't actually go there this time I was actually at the eye doctor next door but I have eaten here twice and the barbecue is just the best I have ever had in my well nope never mind it is the second best I forgot about this one food truck I ran into and I think Myrtle Beach when I was a kid that was the best one but this was mission barbecue is definitely the second best I've ever had in my way so it is good. I don't think you'll be disappointed at all even if you're a hardcore barbecue person.
Parking: It's at the valley Mall in Hagerstown Maryland but actually technically it's halfway Maryland so if you put it in a GPS I'm sure either one would work but there are probably 50 parking spaces per row so we should have no problem finding parking space
Kid-friendliness: High chairs kids meals and drawing
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair ramp for the sidewalk and there is disabled parking the front of every single row that's close enough to mission BBQ and also I'm pretty sure they give a percentage to their profits to veterans I'm not 100% sure about that don't quote me on that but I am pretty sure some of their profits go somewhere good. I know that's not really part of the wheelchair thing but well I mean it kind of is thinking about it.”

“Riks is a total star. When you're standing in front of the restaurant you're in a parking lot of a an old shopping center. Once inside you're in a contemporary bar and restaurant. I believe that much of the work in creating the space was performed by the then staff, many of whom worked together with owners at a prior restaurant. The food is wonderful, creative, fresh and satisfying. My favorites include a smoked salmon salmon carpoccio (sorry about the spelling). “I enjoy the atmosphere. It’s always have this chill vibe, never to crowded and not empty it’s just right. Our services was and is always amazing. The staff is friendly and professional. I like it there. I think it has potential to be better on the weekends if they advertise a little more with game nights or live music it can bring a bigger crowd. But it’s still a wonderful place to go. I give that location 5 stars ⭐️”
