“First time trying this place. Inside was immaculate, very clean and organized. The pastry case was well stocked and the items were perfectly displayed. Items are uniform, hand pies are golden brown and flaky, cookies are large and look moist. Everything is highly attractive and their display is on point. We didn't try anything edible but we got coffees. I had Keon's latte which is White Chocolate Macadamia nut and its delicious. Nutty, not overly sweet, smooth. Can't wait to come back and try more. “Riks is a total star. When you're standing in front of the restaurant you're in a parking lot of a an old shopping center. Once inside you're in a contemporary bar and restaurant. I believe that much of the work in creating the space was performed by the then staff, many of whom worked together with owners at a prior restaurant. The food is wonderful, creative, fresh and satisfying. My favorites include a smoked salmon salmon carpoccio (sorry about the spelling). A great selection of salads with the ability to. add to them crab cake chicken etc. The sandwiches range from a Reuben to a grilled mahi mahi .My favorite when I want a substantial dinner is their short ribs and mashed potatoes. Writing this review has just made me hungry. Guess where I'm going for an early dinner. Prices are VERY reasonable”

“My husband and I have been dining at Little Alex’s for around 5 years now but today I felt compelled to make a review! The food is ALWAYS delicious & it’s the only local pizza that gets close to pizza from my home town. In addition I want to comment on how CLEAN their restaurant is & what got me today is that this is the first time I’ve used their restroom in-house and it was SOOOO CLEAN. That speaks volumes to me. The floor, the walls, the toilet, the sink - spotless. It didn’t have any spell to it and it is clear that they take great pride in their space. Thank you, Little Alex’s for a great dinner and a clean restaurant to visit! Shout out to you guys!”

For some reason, my debit card kept declining, and I couldn’t find my back up cash/card because I was mortified and panicked in the moment (and just having a really emotionally rough morning to boot…and it was only 7:30 am). I apologized, and they treated me with such kindness and patience. They were willing to work with me, but I managed to find my card and pay for the drink. I just wanted to really say how kind they were to me, and how it just really set the tone for my day. The drink was everything I needed, and quality is always consistent here. So to the person running the drive thru window this morning, thank you for your kindness. You had no idea how awful my day was going and no reason to be so patient with me, but you chose to do so, and it just really mattered. ❤️”

Beans were creamy and hearty. Chicken and carnitas tacos were also very good. Tamarind agua frescas were very tasty. Definitely recommend.”

“I came to waffle house with my granddaughter. I had the 2 egg breakfast with a side of gravy for my hasbrowns. My granddie had the waffle with bacon and a drink. Service was very great. Food was served up fresh and very quickly. My eggs were perfect over medium. The sausage gravy was salty but tasty. The waffle was the star of this show! Lightly crispy on the outside and so fluffy inside, with a slight hint of vanilla flavor. Overall great experience. Highly recommend if you want a quick American diner meal. Thanks waffle house. “I had to take out in the middle of the night and it was extremely quiet at the restaurant. There was only one other gentleman there having breakfast around 3:30 in the morning. The person working was exceptionally awesome that brought my food to me. They were out of the desert that I ordered, but it was no problem and was substituted easy. I feel like the cook might have been the one to mess up a little bit though with the sliders because they're supposed to have three in the meal according to the pictures online and I only got two. I put in an online complaint and waiting for a response now. When you complain through their website, it takes one to two business days for them to contact you back which I think is a little delayed but so long as they actually do contact back, it'll still be fine if it's made right. I didn't like that at the end of the complaint it says that the contacting one to two days and if you don't hear from them to call the restaurant directly. I've always been nervous about calling in somewhere and complaining because I get stuck up on certain words with my mental health and I just shut down and end up not trying to get their wrongs righted. Otherwise, the food was flavorful and extremely awesome! We got the sliders, hash browns, biscuit and sausage gravy, sides of gravy, and cinnamon pancakes..... And I can't tell you that I just suggest one thing because it was all phenomenal! I live in a place that doesn't have a lot of options to go out to eat so it was a awesome treat and I can't wait to return at some point in the near future!”

He stood out & the service stood out because lately everywhere I go is just horrible!! We also tried a shrimp pupusa; the cabbage and the tomato sauce add a nice touch of acidic brightness to what might be a rather plain but good pupusa. I honestly can’t stop thinking about that burrito bowl and how fresh everything was. 10/10 wonderful food!”

I was going to save half for dinner but it was too yummy and I ended up eating the entire thing in my car haha. It’s on par with Cafe Del Sol’s ham and turkey panini, which has always been a personal favorite of mine, but it’s more affordable and so easy to just drive through and pick up. I want to try everything else on the menu too, but it’s going to be difficult to not order this every single time, it’s that good. What a gem of a place, love you Aleko’s 2 Go!!”

“We had a large family party there and our party was seamless! Our waiter and waitresses (particularly Ashley and Kirby) were wonderful at accommodating a large party including children. We had a great time with everyone. I do need to add that the bar staff was not friendly, and when ordering bar drinks while prepping for the party we were asked to stay in our room and not ask her. She also did not seem to be friendly or helpful to fellow staff, but maybe that was just me. Overall great food and a great experience, minus one person :)”

I told Dixie he loves metal detecting, and is a collector of his findings/old coins...she came up with an awesome quote and design. The flavor was simple, half vanilla, half chocolate, with a fluffy sugar icing that was delicious! Again, Dixie made another birthday celebration more memorable and special for our family and friends ?”

I consider myself quite the pizza snob and this is probably the closest I’m getting to pizza from home here in Hagerstown! Absolutely delicious, great sauce to cheese ratio, crust was good - not a single complaint! Also, the lunch special - two slices of cheese and a drink for $8, you can’t beat it! The pizza made here is real amazing and we would recommend trying these guys out. They have great topping selections and great prices on a single slice or whole NY style pizza. We like the thin crispy crust pizza, and this exceeded our expectations. Even the sweet tea was the best I have ever ordered in a restaurant. “For my first visit the food was just okay, the service was mehh and truthfully the only thing I enjoyed was the company I came with and the Handshaken Espresso beverage I ordered. The young blonde server had some friends walk in after us and skipped us completely and went right for her friends so it took that much longer to get service and food. I wasn't going to let that keep me from coming back though. Let's fast forward to yesterday my birthday brunch meal. Different server, different meal and different company I came with. Server was sweet, just didn't check to make sure we were happy with anything until we were ready for boxes. (She was saying bye to a friend that was leaving as she was coming to finally check to see how things were) BUT literally every bite I took from the Breakfast Brunch Burrito was heavenly! This location definitely lives up to the standards of service that chic fil a always delivers. On another note I am a person who pays attention to details. While I was standing in line I of course got to looking around and I must say when I looked up at the entrance there are windows up high, and these windows were crystal clear down to the window seal. “Food was very good, only issue with this place is if you order a glass of water, the water quality is terrible. Had to order sodas instead after tasting it.

If you order a bowl stack it like jenga, they encourage you to fill it up. As for making a bowl.. it’s slightly confusing how to do it but once you get the general idea it’s one cool experience. Once they serve you it in a fresh bowl you are proud that you picked all that went into it!🙂

Definitely will be back, recommend for family or date night!”

“It was my first visit and the atmosphere was great. I loved the decor and the music that was playing in the background. I like when restaurants provide listening pleasure. They provided chips and salsa for the wait. And the wait was short as our food cane out in less than ten minutes. The food was great. I ordered a drink and it came out in style. I will bring a friend next time I visit.”

The place is magical …pumping Ghanaian music. Offers Fanta, or club or star or the foreign Guinness. I look forward to coming back many times.”

“I have been here a few times and have sat at the bar and at a table with friends. The services at the table hasn't been to good. Service was slow and the bartender was bringing our drinks most of the time. Everytime I have sat at the bar I have gotten amazing service. Food was okay. I suggest sitting at the bar for faster service. Overall its a great place to get together with friends and family.”

She is the hallmark example of how you make someone feel welcome and happy at a restaurant. The food is honestly tasty in relation to the price. Update: I went back to get a calzone at 6:40 PM. I was informed the pizza oven was down only after I had already seated and waited a couple minutes. My favorite table was also off center and wobbly. Just all around disappointed today.”

“Veva's hosted a Daddy/Daughter Date Night last night and I took my 5 year old daughter. The owner and staff went out of their way to make sure the evening was special and I'm so grateful for them going above and beyond. They had a photo booth, red carpet, professional photographer, corsage and a goodie bag for the littles. She felt so special. In addition to the event itself, the food was incredible! I got the Chicken Chesapeake. The breaded chicken breast was cooked to perfection and the crab on top stole the show. We got the scratch-made tiramisu for dessert. It was a very generous serving and we took half of it home. The new chef really does an amazing job. Can't wait to go back!”

“We stopped for fuel in our Motorhome. Prices were great it was easy to get in and out. We didn't go inside so I cannot comment on any of what the store offered. It did appear to be a full service convenience store.”
