Was driving from WV to home in Frederick. My family and I decided to stop by LIMS restaurant for the first time.
Food is superb, the real Ghana food. Customer service was amazing. We will visit again. Just call ahead of time to avoid long wait!

Best African food in Hagerstown and it’s not even close
It was really nice food but Attieke is an Ivorian dish not Togolese. Thank you 🙏🏾

Based on reviews, LIMS African Restaurant offers authentic African cuisine with warm and welcoming staff. The food is tasty, flavorful, and interesting, with diverse and complex flavors that are wholesome. Some dishes are VERY spicy, so consider yourself warned. The Jollof Rice and the Jolof Rice Special with Chicken are packed with unique flavors that complement each other perfectly. Other menu items include groundnut soup with goat meat and plantain fufu. The portions are large, and the food packaging is gorgeous. The restaurant is well appointed, and great worship music plays in the background. The people there are kind and helpful, and the owner is often present to greet customers. LIMS stands for The Lord is My Shepherd. For anyone new to this type of cuisine, the delicious flavors cannot be compared to any other cuisine available in the region. The restaurant is a great choice for a date night or to try something new, and the service from staff that want to share their cuisine will not disappoint.
