“Riks is a total star. When you're standing in front of the restaurant you're in a parking lot of a an old shopping center. Once inside you're in a contemporary bar and restaurant. I believe that much of the work in creating the space was performed by the then staff, many of whom worked together with owners at a prior restaurant. The food is wonderful, creative, fresh and satisfying. My favorites include a smoked salmon salmon carpoccio (sorry about the spelling). A great selection of salads with the ability to. add to them crab cake chicken etc. The sandwiches range from a Reuben to a grilled mahi mahi .My favorite when I want a substantial dinner is their short ribs and mashed potatoes. Writing this review has just made me hungry. Guess where I'm going for an early dinner. Prices are VERY reasonable“

“We had a large family party there and our party was seamless! Our waiter and waitresses (particularly Ashley and Kirby) were wonderful at accommodating a large party including children. We had a great time with everyone. I do need to add that the bar staff was not friendly, and when ordering bar drinks while prepping for the party we were asked to stay in our room and not ask her. She also did not seem to be friendly or helpful to fellow staff, but maybe that was just me. Overall great food and a great experience, minus one person :)“

“I have been here a few times and have sat at the bar and at a table with friends. The services at the table hasn't been to good. Service was slow and the bartender was bringing our drinks most of the time. Everytime I have sat at the bar I have gotten amazing service. Food was okay. I suggest sitting at the bar for faster service. Overall its a great place to get together with friends and family.“

“My husband and I came into Cracker Barrel for dinner. Seth was our server and waited on us the entire time. I just wanted to let you know how friendly and attentive he was to us. Dinner was an especially great time meeting with Seth and he provided outstanding service. The food is always good at Cracker Barrel and Seth was a pleasant surprise. Looking forward to coming back and we will be requesting Seth again as our server.“

“Their food is great! I got the grill fish tacos with Avacado with waffles fries and needless to say it was delicious! I hate Avacado but I think I like it within stuff because I like it in sushi. I gave it a shot because they put a big cut on my tacos and I still didn’t taste it. Very DELCIOUS! My only problem was their portions r so small and they r kind of pricey. Their waffles fries r $6 dollars to maybe get like 10 or 12 fries like nooooooo. So for three fish tacos and a super small batch of fries was $24 after tax. I’d pay $18 for that meal max.“

“Hadn’t been to this location in a while. Went in for lunch had jacob and he was top notch. He knew the menu so well and was able to give recommendations about what to eat. I had the lobster shrimp and salmon and it was amazing. Definitely will be coming back“

“We decided to have HBC cater our lunch meeting today and did NOT disappoint!!! Sandwiches were amazing, boxed nicely and the fruit tray and broccoli salad were superb! “First time coming out here and it was a great experience! There is a small L-shaped bar and plenty of seating inside. They have 16 beers on tap, which included a great selection of craft and domestic options. Service was fast and the prices were fair. Great bar!“

“Veva's hosted a Daddy/Daughter Date Night last night and I took my 5 year old daughter. The owner and staff went out of their way to make sure the evening was special and I'm so grateful for them going above and beyond. They had a photo booth, red carpet, professional photographer, corsage and a goodie bag for the littles. She felt so special. In addition to the event itself, the food was incredible! I got the Chicken Chesapeake. The breaded chicken breast was cooked to perfection and the crab on top stole the show. We got the scratch-made tiramisu for dessert. It was a very generous serving and we took half of it home. The new chef really does an amazing job. Can't wait to go back!“

“Everything was great overall! We were greeted almost immediately after sitting down, honestly the fastest we’ve ever been greeted here. The first server who stopped by let us know he was just getting us started while our actual server was on her way in, and he was very kind and attentive. He even took the time to check on the table next to us and let them know the same.

Our server arrived shortly after, and the wait wasn’t long at all. She was friendly, attentive, and quick, despite explaining that she had an emergency before coming into work (over heard from the table next to us). The table next to us seemed frustrated, but she handled it professionally and kept things moving. Our food came out on time, everything was correct, and overall our experience with her was phenomenal.

However, I did witness something that took away from the experience. The table next to us flagged down another server, and when they asked for help, that server (Triniti) responded in a way that felt really unprofessional. She said things like, “I don’t even know who your server is,” and after being told, responded with, “Oh, I don’t even talk to her that much, I don’t know.” This was said within earshot while the table was already upset, which didn’t help the situation at all and reflected poorly on the team dynamic.

As a former server myself, I know how important teamwork is in a restaurant, especially when guests are already frustrated. It was disappointing to hear that kind of response.

Because of that interaction alone, I’m giving 4 stars, everything else, especially our server and the food, was excellent. I’d strongly encourage reinforcing teamwork among staff, because that moment didn’t match the otherwise great experience.“

“I came to waffle house with my granddaughter. I had the 2 egg breakfast with a side of gravy for my hasbrowns. My granddie had the waffle with bacon and a drink. Service was very great. Food was served up fresh and very quickly. My eggs were perfect over medium. The sausage gravy was salty but tasty. The waffle was the star of this show! Lightly crispy on the outside and so fluffy inside, with a slight hint of vanilla flavor. Overall great experience. Highly recommend if you want a quick American diner meal. Thanks waffle house. “Very delicious food, only the beef soup could be a little bit stronger, as I remember it from other Bob Evans. And I would cook it definitely stronger myself. But the rest was great.

I had a friendly waitress which was very guest focused and made a good atmosphere.

“Went November 2025. Molly was our server which enhanced our experience. We both had the fries and burgers. I had the sweet potato fries and had caramel to dip. The burgers filled the buns and was very tasty. Spectacular service. Molly was very friendly and attentive. The dinner was even better knowing your server was checking in. She did check in multiple times to see if we needed anything.“
