“We had a wonderful experience today during lunch service. I took 3 of my kids out and was honestly nervous about how it would go. However, our server was SO sweet, and very kind and attentive to my kiddos. It was super busy with 2 very large parties, but no one kept us waiting. The food was delicious, and at my request, the owner excitedly brought paper and crayons for the kids to color when they were becoming anxious. I feel that the changes coming with the new ownership are exciting and the food was still excellent, just as it always has been. Thank you! See you again soon!“
“This place has been one of our greatest experience since arriving here from Texas. Kevin is a great waiter but then you have the manager, Mike, telling Kevin in front of us to not be so sociable. I do not know who owns Middleton Tavern but time to reconsider your managers. Kevin you did no wrong it was great having you make us feel welcomed in this part of the US. I am retired law enforcement and military veteran. Thank you sir.“
“I came here for lunch today and liked the atmosphere as its on a golf course and it has a nice, roomy interior. The bartender was a nice guy. I like a stiff drink and they were definitely on the weak side, but the bartender is young, and probably isn't sure of a proper pour. The Greek Salad with Chicken was pretty solid and a good size. It is served with Hummus and Warm Pita Bread on the same dish as the salad. Needless to say, it was unique and pretty good.“
“What a great meal with fantastic service at The Tasting Room in Frederick Maryland. We were gifted a very generous gift card to this restaurant. We had eaten here in the past, but had the opportunity to head back here. We used OpenTable and booked our reservation several weeks in advance. Mostly because of our schedule, but we’re excited to go back. Our server was Jessica and she was probably one of the best servers we have had in the past two years. Extremely knowledgeable about the wines, and very strong on the menu selections. Professional and attentive. If I could give her six stars, I would. For dinner we started with a Black Martini and a Lily Pad. Jessica explained the drink to us so we went with it and was not disappointed. With dinner we had a bottle of Inglenook Zinfandel. Delicious. For food we started with the Panko Shrimp and the charcuterie board. The cheese selection was very good and the elk sausage was tasty. For main courses we all had the filet. Great presentation with oval trivets and cast iron plates with each filet. Tender and cooked to perfection with a side of béarnaise sauce which was some of the best I have ever had. So so good! You also received as a side dish potatoes au gratin. Very good! We also ordered a side of Brussels sprouts for the table. For desserts Jessica recommended the “warm chocolate toffee Bundt cake”. It was so delicious. Could have eaten two! We also had the “lemon meringue parfait”. Light and tasty. We rounded out the meal with Peruvian Dark Roast Coffee. Outstanding. The restaurant is cozy and well decorated. Take the opportunity and look up at the beautiful ceilings that permeate throughout the restaurant. In addition, if you are seated next to a window look across the street at the “Angel” painting. So interesting.Overall, the meal and service were just outstanding. Yeah it is on the expensive side (but we had drinks, apps and dessert) but I will go back. It really was perfection and worth every penny.Parking: Parking is available across the street in a paid large parking garage. Several garages around.Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is on first floor so no steps but aisles are tight between tables.“
“It was the review for me that caught my attention, that’s why it’s very important to rate restaurants on the customer service and the quality of food. Me and my daughter visited yesterday and the wings and fries were delicious, we also tried the Atlantis dog, which is the chili and cheese hotdog. I love the fact the our food was still hot especially our fries were boxed in a brown box container which I love because the fries were still hot and not soggy even when we got home our fries were still not soggy and I love that. You got to try the Old bay wings and Parmesan garlic wings. Thank You Kevin for your Hospitality as well asking us how we want our chicken to be cooked regular or crispy! Check them out Frederick location down Market Street“
“We celebrated my son’s 17th birthday here and it did not disappoint! The staff were friendly and attentive - multiple people stopped by to fill our water throughout the evening. The decor was really nice with a variety of textures (wood, brick, fabrics, metal). The food was amazeballs. My son and I had the filet and my husband had the duck. And, because it was a celebration, we got 3 different desserts . The chocolate cake was so good, I dropped my fork. We will definitely be back!“
“My sister and I are on a road trip from Florida to Cape May NJ…. We love eating at local places that come highly recommended. The Silver Diner did not disappoint! The Farm to Table menu is amazing with something for everyone! Our server, Michael S was knowledgeable and friendly and the night supervisor, Caitlynn, was great! Friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The lemon hummus salad… to die for!!“
“Yesterday my family was celebrating the 19th anniversary of the adoption of our three sons who are now in their mid-to-late 20's. Viktorija was our server, and she was phenomenal. She was very attentive, lots of fun and engaging, and made our afternoon really enjoyable for all of us. One of the best servers we've had - anywhere. None of us live in the area - it was half way for each of us, coming from PA and/or VA, so sadly we won't get to visit Viktorija more often. But we wanted to recognize her because she should be applauded for her excellent service.“
“I had the lunch crabcake sandwich and my husband had the grilled turkey Reuben. Both served with house starch : fried potato rounds. My crabcake was delicious! And we asked our server to bring fried oysters as appetizer since it wasn’t on the lunch menu and she said yes! The fried oysters were lightly breaded and delish! They have outdoor seating (around back) which is nice but we enjoyed our meal in the cool “dungeon”.Wheelchair accessibility: There is an elevator to take you to the dungeon level where we ate“
“This is a cute little place with great customer service and even better food. Never had a Ruben and it has set the bar very high for any one I have after. I am a bit of a cinnamon roll snob and I will say that the owners take was made with a unique batter that keeps the rolls moist. The typical frosting was made with a caramel sauce that did not harden, leaving a nice ooey gooey (that’s the name ?) sweet layer on top that melts into the roll. I look forward to making the trip again!“
