The newest incarnation of the bar/restaurant that was last Firestones continues the same tradition of very good food and drinks as the legacy tavern did. Props for having a Brunch menu that includes enough Lunch options to satisfy. The Cuban sandwich was the standout with the very interesting bread choice and unusual pulled pork. The Reuben was a straight-forward version.
Good selection of menu options. We ordered harvest flat bread and prime rib sandwich. All delicious. Mid week lunch date was uncrowded and unhurried. We parked in Church Street garage but street parking was open right in front. Charming and helpful wait staff
My old fashioned was a bit watered down and the food was okay.

Fire&Oak Culinary Tavern offers delicious food, excellent service, and a cool vibe. The environment features tables with large windows overlooking downtown Frederick, with old wood work and an old-fashioned bar giving a vintage feeling. The food is good quality and not anything fancy. Specific meals enjoyed include brussel sprouts, salmon, fish and chips with a crispy breading, New York strip steak, blackened shrimp pasta, F&O burger, and the favorite fire honey wings. The service is very good, with attentive servers and quick drinks at the bar from a friendly bar tender. The prices are an insane value. The restaurant is very clean. Overall, the entire experience is very good and highly recommended.
