“Randomly passed by and stopped in for lunch on a long road trip back home from Maryland…and so very glad we did! Truffle fries, fig and brie flatbread, and strawberry cheesecake French toast…all so good!!! This was literally one of the best meals we’ve had in as far back as we can remember. We are so sad you are over 7 hours away from us, but we hope lacrosse or work takes us somewhere near you again. We will definitely be back!“

“Great food, a lot of great variety here. The service was great, we were sat quickly, checked in on at good intervals, food came quick, and no issues with the orders. Portion sizes for some things were a little off for me personally, the buffalo chicken mac and cheese and the cajun chicken fettuccine both had a LOT of pasta with very little protein, but I'm a bit of a carnivore so I acknowledge that might not work for everyone. Great overall, a solid spot to grab some grub“

Sure was busy, but a few minute wait just allowed us to fall in love with the quaint interior of this Cafe. The food was as good as the wait staff! “First time visiting Brookside Inn and we were blown away! The food was outstanding. The menu is so descriptive that it makes you want to try everything you’d honestly have to come back multiple times just to experience it all. We also loved that they support Hemp’s Meat, a local meat locker. The staff was absolutely phenomenal. Our waitress, Kaylor, was incredible she memorized all of our orders and provided excellent service throughout the entire meal. Everything was cooked to perfection. My husband had the jalapeño burger, I had the beef brisket sandwich, and our daughter ordered the buffalo wings. The wings alone were worth the money very meaty and cooked perfectly. We’re already looking forward to going back and truly believe this will become our new go-to dining spot!“

The service was fantastic even though they were down to one Chef, one waitress and one bartender. If this were American Idol, I’d hit the Golden Buzzer. We were looking for a decent meal after being on the road all day, and came upon this diner. The two women, Olivia and Kara who were working there could not have made the experience better. They were friendly, accommodated a special request for my husband, who was in the mood for an open-faced, hot turkey sandwich with gravy. They made the gravy as a special accommodation. The restaurant was clean, well-maintained, and the food was delicious. I would not hesitate to grab a meal there if you’re in the area.“

“I cannot explain how much of an amazing experience I had tonight at velocity. I have never had better wings in my life! Seriously! I really love wings and have had many at many different places, but this was BY FAR THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD! I was being very particular as always, and I wanted something that wasn’t quite on the menu, Ramon was so kind as to really help to get a VERY SPECIFIC flavor that suited me perfectly. I couldn’t believe how quickly and smoothly he received what I said and made something happen. It made for a unique and special experience! This guy deserves a medal!? A raise!? Idk you tell me but he absolutely deserves some recognition because I will never forget this first impression! Impressive service all around. The ladies that server us, kind, sweet, and lovely to speak with, the atmosphere was nice and I enjoyed the drinks as well! I got a Margarita and a bloody mary which I asked to be made spicy as well!
