“We stopped in here before an event at the Apollo and it was my first time trying this place. I thought it was lovely. The decor and atmosphere were very nice. The drinks are a little pricey but very tasty. I tried the lemon drop and cherry blossom martinis The sliders were delicious. The charcuterie board was well put together and good combination of yummy items. I can’t wait to come back again.“
“We have being going to McFarland House for several years now and I have never been disappointed- we have spent many Sunday Brunch with Chef Walden, Michael and Donna ❤️❤️❤️ We did the carry out dinners with them on Friday nights when they had their specials and we did the most recent “Date Night” let me say that was by far the best meal, service and friendly experience of my 66 years ! I have become to care about these people and I will miss each of them ! Chef Walden you never failed to make my family feel special and welcome and your meals were impeccable!! Michael your kindness and open hospitality the very best !! Donna I just think the world of you and your beautiful caring self ! “Great food and service. The new remodel is still in progress and looking nice with the exception of the new tables. Tables definitely aren’t big enough for 4 people plus that are cheap looking. Old chairs are very comfortable and were kept .. need the tables back! Heard many comments about the lack of table space. We felt bad for the service workers. Please bring back the other tables.“

“Awesome experience. The waitress was very helpful and explained items on the menu. I had the Miso Cod and vegetable and risotto. The food came out piping hot. I also enjoyed the Fried Green tomatoes. My husband had the Crab and it was good as well. We tip off the meal with Butter Pecan Cheese Cake.“

“A small bar with a cozy environment. Nice people. I was there for the band Miranda's Rites performance and the guy behind the bar was slamming drinks as fast as he could but the crowd was large and it was difficult for him to keep up, but he tried like mad.“

“The best food in all Martinsburg, and an exceptional value. The place is clean, and I always feel good about using their restrooms. You can't go wrong with their Pho Bar, Sushi Bar or any of their many deliciously cooked entree's I lived in the area for the last 20 years and if there was a better place to spend my money at I would tell you.“

“After a disappointing visit with Outback Steakhouse, we were greeted and seated promptly on arrival by the hostess. Our server Aniya was there to get our drink order as we just finished sitting down. We ordered our drinks and mozzarella cheese sticks to start. My wife ordered the 8 Oz sirloin with mashed potatoes and the 4 cheese macaroni. My daughter ordered the bacon ranch chicken sandwich with the 4 cheese macaroni. I ordered the Bourbon Street steak and the 4 cheese macaroni. Everything was delicious. Aniya was prompt with refills and checked on us during our experience at just the right interval. She was great!“

“The food was really good but we did have a problem with service that the manager corrected very efficiently i know sometimes things happen with large tables but its the actions taking to correct that problem that matters just as much i would visit again for sure food was delicious 😋“

“First time here and I was impressed. The inside was nice and clean. Only ordered take out so we didnt get a chance to eat inside. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We both loved our dinners. I would definitely get the crab cakes again. The onion rings were really good as well. Definitely will be back to try more off the menu.“
