The Young American is a nice addition to Martinsburg, offering very friendly staff and amazing service in a cozy, beautiful bar atmosphere. The food and drinks are on point, with the chocolate martinis, lemon drop, and cherry blossom martinis being particularly tasty. The sliders were delicious, and the charcuterie board was well put together with a good combination of yummy items. The decor and atmosphere are very nice, making it a cozy and inviting space in the heart of downtown Martinsburg. The manager, Kayla, was fantastic and kind, giving really good suggestions for food and activities in the area. Martini prices are a little pricey but what is expected for a place like this, though checking the Facebook page for specials is recommended. Each visit has been great, with martinis made perfect and great food, earning a 10 out of 10 recommendation.
