When living in South Jersey, there was no shortage of diners to frequent. Where I live now, diners are not in the vocabulary. During a weekend visit with family, my sister and I decided to get breakfast here. We liked it so much we went 2 days in a row. I loved the chipped beef. I asked for extra onions in the home fries and was not disappointed. Would go again if I'm in the area.
This is THEE spot in Hagerstown. This family diner is the one spot that everyone who lives in Hagerstown seems to go to. I've only experienced the breakfast here but I've studied the entire menu and plan to come back to try some of the dinner and dessert options. I was recently there with my mom and granddaughter. Was driving thru on my way to Va. Met my niece, had a delicious long lunch, service was awesome, and very accommodating. We didn't get any of the fantastic looking desserts, but think of them often lolKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly menu and waitress was accommodating.
