I wont be forced into leaving a 18% tip and then leaving a space for another tip, be careful could screw yourself from 40 % of you bill..... the food is awesome, but a forced tip will be my last trip in the door. sucks to see this forced tipping trend, I will tip at my own discretion, but as I said never again til the 18% is removed. plus a 28 dollar piece of salmon if you want rice becomes 32, because thats 4 more dollars they dont tell you about, so with all the add ons and...read full review
We love Nikkos. It's one of our favorite restaurants and we visit often. I was shocked today to see an automatic 18% gratuity for our party of 2. Apparently it's a new policy that applies to all diners, no matter the party size. Now we always tip 20% or more, but to not even be told about the 18% ahead of time was absurd. I'm sure there is a reason for it, but it's a shame that now you won't be getting as large of a tip from us because you put 18% on there and don't tell people.
