I ordered steak and it was pork and I called the manager and said it was steak but it was obvious it’s pork and gave me food poisoning DO NOT COME HERE

Our 1st time here. We were seated right away. Great food. I enjoyed my food.

The waitress was knowledgeable about allergens and was careful to accommodate my allergy. When she noticed there was cross contamination prior to bringing my food out, she had my food remade. This was very much appreciated. This also caused my group to wait on their food. When she told us the hold up, she said all of the food was ready but didn't offer to bring any out. I also didn't get the rest of my meal, only the item that had cross contact and needed remade. When I inquired about it she apologized and said she was focused on said item being wrong. I never received my other item. It was on my bill, just taken off. I was so over everything that I didn't question it once she brought the bill. At the time we got the bill we were finally offered refills for the first time. It wasn't very busy. We were right by the kitchen and she hung out in the kitchen for the most part. I could see her talking to a group in there most of the time. I'm not sure what was going on but service was slacking.

I’ve eaten at several different locations and all of them have had really good food. We had a waitress named Reese and she was amazing. She checked in frequently, but not to the point where it was annoying and Always made sure we had everything we needed in a timely manner.
I would certainly go back.

Been here a few times now and it's consistently good - haven't had any issues with food. They also have house-made sodas, which are fantastic!

We’ve been stopping here for years, both on Hagerstown Outlets shopping trips and on the way back from our annual Ocean City vacation, but our last visit, on Saturday, August 23, 2025, was very disappointing. First, we were surprised to learn that the tri-tip special, which had been a longtime favorite of ours, is no longer available. On top of that, when we asked for chips and queso as an appetizer (something we’ve always enjoyed), we were told it’s no longer offered, even though the menu still lists queso as part of other dishes like the soft pretzel and nachos. Our waitress even mentioned she had just explained to another table that another special was also gone. She said the menu changes “all the time,” which doesn’t match our experience of ordering the same items for years.
The food itself didn’t make up for the changes. My wife’s sirloin came out overcooked and lacked seasoning, and the broccoli was noticeably undercooked. This used to be a reliable stop for us, but between the disappearing menu staples and the lackluster food, it feels like the quality and consistency have slipped, and we are considering whether we will come back here again.

Edit: Thank you for your response. I’ll consider emailing, but I do think it’s important to note here that the biggest issue for us was consistency. After years of enjoying the same reliable favorites, finding menu staples gone without warning and then receiving overcooked and under-seasoned food was disappointing. Other longtime customers may run into the same frustration, so I hope these concerns can be taken seriously.

BJ’s Brewhouse in Hagerstown used to be one of our go-to stops, but after our last visit on August 23, 2025, I don’t see much reason to come back. Right off the bat, we learned that the tri-tip special, a longtime staple and our personal favorite, has been dropped from the menu. Then, when we tried to order chips and queso, (something we’ve gotten here before) we were told it’s no longer available, even though queso is still listed on the menu with other items such as the soft pretzel and the nachos. Our server casually explained that they “switch the menu up a lot,” and even admitted she had just told another table they don’t carry another special anymore either. That’s not a creative new menu, that’s inconsistency. To make matters worse, the food we did get was subpar. The sirloin was overcooked, bland, and nowhere near worth the price, and the broccoli was practically raw.cThis location used to feel reliable, but now it feels like they’re cutting corners, removing popular dishes, and serving food without any attention to quality. When you can’t even trust the menu in front of you, it’s hard to justify coming back.

Their specials are good only Monday-Friday and we tried place on Sunday, I had a great experience at BJ’s in LA so I was hoping to treat my mom and sister to great experience.

Our Waitress, Shelby, was so patient with us as we browsed the extensive menu. She gave amazing recommendations and checked on us multiple times. We were there til close and everyone was still so kind. We didn’t feel rushed at all. Thanks for great service, and amazing food and drinks. We will be back!

Was not full when we came, got seated right away but...food never arrived after 40+ minutes didn't count asked for drinks check and left.
