Me and my brother stopped in at the Hagerstown BE, at 7:30 am on Dec. 22 and he had the biscuit gravy (small) cup, and 2 coffees, I got the 2 breakfast sandwiches with hash browns and gravy, the potatoes were so small, I had a hard time picking them with a fork. I had 2 coffees. The bill was $30.00 and the tip was $6.00, total was $36.00.
NOT what I was expecting, they charged us $3.50 per coffee, that's $14.00 for the coffee alone, BEvans ripped us off, whenever I go to the diner in Annapolis they only charge me $0.99 cents for coffee. I asked the cashier if we could get a senior citizen discount and they said No. I looked at the pies on the table, they were $15.00, I told the cashier that they should make them $5.00 and they would sell all of them. She said I know.
I will never go to a Bob Evans again, you lost another customer. That breakfast wasn't worth it.
Looks like I'm sticking with the diner in Annapolis. They give seniors discounts.

My favorite location. The food is always exactly as ordered and fresh. The staff is kind even when short staffed.

Had a wonderful experience here with a family breakfast. Our last visit, not much so. The server then served us our banana nut bread still in a plastic box, no butter and no plates. Wish I remembered her name. Her service in general, left much to be desired. However this visit was so much better! Meagan took great care of us and not just plated our bread, but she pre-cut and served us. Its the little things like this that make all the difference! We absolutely will ask for Meagan here on out. She was such a great personality and so attentive!

We were so excited to pass by this location in our travels since all the Bob Evans near us have closed down. The Cheddar potato soup was as amazing as I remembered! Regretting not taking some home with me now. Sadly, everything else was a total bust. The BLT was served on the wrong bread with wilted lettuce and the cold salad was on a hot plate just rendering that kind of odd. Mainly, the steak and chicken ordered had been prepared as steak and shrimp but the waitress caught it and only brought out the steak. The chicken portion arrived a few minutes later - all which was fine. What wasn't fine is clearly the steak and shrimp had been plated together as my guest spent the rest of the night vomiting until the early morning. Being that he's highly allergic to shrimp, this should have been disclosed to us which made for a very miserable drive back home.

Okay, so I just went to the Bob. Evans in hagerstown dual highway and, the food and the service was great, but, they did not have a veggie omelet on their menu. So uh I did the build your own which I just got onions. Peppers, mushrooms and they put one little piece of cheese on top, and that omelet was $17. My total bill was $30 for one person to eat a little breakfast. That is ridiculous. I can go over to the hub city diner with my wife and we can both eat breakfast there for less than what I just paid for myself. I'm pretty sure that falls into the category of price gouging.
Especially when it was probably a total of probably not even $2 worth of food. Ridiculous, and I told the manager about this, and I will never eat here again

It amazes me that a restaurant like this can stay in business. Appears like they’re short staffed or nobody wants to work. Mac and cheese cold chicken was over cooked The waiter was nice but VERY laid back. NO rush to get us silverware while the food was on the table.
