We stopped for first time, they need more servers and more cooks!!!! Food took over an hour and the service was bad, we never got any refills the server never ask if we need more drinks or anything, im very disappointed

Picked my wife up at Hagerstown airport and she was hungry, so I looked for eating establishments near us and decided on the Colonial Bar & Grill as they had a good assortment of items on their menu. We were both totally satisfied with our meals,waitresse, and price as this was our first time there. Will definitely get together with some friends and head there in the future.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Maugansville/Hagerstown! Everything I've had from there is absolutely delicious! Food is always hot and cooked to perfection. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. All their food is top notch, and the prices are very fair.

The fried oysters are great and the Coors Light on draft is cold and refreshing The Colonial is my favorite places to eat

Loved how super friendly and helpful our waiter was. How quickly our food was put on the table. Everything was delicious. I don't think it could be improved on, today.

Placed a small order (2 fried baskets) this evening and it took AN HOUR to be ready. It was to be ready at 6:16 and just now receiving the order at 6:55. My husband waited in your restaurant this entire time for our take out. I can understand a few minutes past 6:16 but 40 mins?? Ridiculous. And the best part.. not even a simple apology.

Absolutely recommend stopping here or making it your favorite place to be if you live locally

The waitress was awesome with recommendations and information and the bartender was awesome also!

As a regular patron of The Colonial, I am disappointed to have to leave this type of review. My fiancé and I were going meet some friends for wings. We arrived 1st and grabbed a table. We were served drinks and told our server, Jeremy that we were waiting for 2 more people to arrive. When our friends arrived, Jeremy greeted them, but never came to take their drink order. They had to go to the bar to order it themselves. We ordered our food but once we got it, we were basically forgotten about. Our drinks were never refilled , we were never asked if we needed anything. All this despite the fact that Jeremy walked by our table SEVERAL times to wait on and chat with the table beside us. It was obvious that they were friends of his and it felt like we didn't exist. We will be avoiding patronizing The Colonial when Jeremy is on duty. He is a very friendly guy, but he needs to remember that he is there to do a job.
