Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

SO cracker Barrel is pretty much back to normal. But I worry that the bean counters are messing with the recipes and menu. The coleslaw wasn't like it used to be. No mayo. Might have been a one off kitchen mistake but one by one some of my favorites are disappearing from the menu or being changed to lesser quality ingredients.

If zero stars was an option, that’s what this CB location deserved today. My husband went to get breakfast to bring back after I worked a 19 hour shift only for them to charge him for full meals and then not even get our orders right or give a full portion. The food was cold, didn’t taste right, we didn’t even get what we ordered, and it was 1/3 of each serving as if they scraped the leftovers someone left behind into a takeout container. Will NOT be returning. An awful way to start off the new year

Great food, service and the atmosphere was nice. The meatloaf was actually better with some gravy on it. My mom loved the chicken and dumplings. Biscuits were a must!

had dinner, Saturday 12/5. My country fries steak was good but the Chicken and Dumplings made my lady sick. Maybe avoid that.

Gentleman waiter, cannot remember his name, was comical, very attentive, great suggestions of flavored tea. Quite enjoyable.

Fortunately for my girls and I; we picked this spot to swap off with my ex. If she's not on time, at least we have a great place to eat and clean bathrooms to use. I've been going there since my divorce was finalized in 2015 and at least I know there will be some.comfort food waiting at the drop-off. Plus the checker boards out front give the kids some entertainment while they wait.

Brought my 82 year old mother cause she loves this place. Asked them to seat me by the door soshe didn’t have to walk far. They gave us a great seat. It was around 8pm and was waited by another waitress after she noticed we were sitting for 20 minutes. She quickly apologized. It was pretty clear later that our waitress was abused by a previous table that had her in tears over something so silly and out of her control. She was the nicest waitress and was able to come back to us professionally and made sure we had everything we needed. Food was great and service was great.

This is 2nd time I have been to this Cracker Barrel before 6 pm when they are open to 9 pm and what we want to order is not available. Today the Sunday feature of chicken pot pie and fried chicken NOT Available
