With great reviews, I decided to give Evergreen a chance. The staff was nice. Our order was plain lo mein & sweet-&-sour chicken. My dish was chock full of soy sauce. All I tasted was salt. The chicken didn't come out well either. When I got home, I toweled off the excess soy sauce. I added tofu, to try to get the noodles to be tasty. it didn't work. I won't be returning.

I’ve been struggling to find good Chinese food in Hagerstown for MONTHS. Finally tried this place and it’s the winner for me.
Ordered pickup, shrimp lo mein is wonderful! The egg rolls were crispy and good and not greasy! Loved that we got chopsticks and fortune cookies for the whole family!! Chicken fried rice is satisfying and tasty. Might want to order double! 😂

A wonderful and enjoyable family owned and operated restaurant. Food was still very hot after a 20 min ride home. Needed to find another place to enjoy Chinese food and accidentally found Evergreen. I highly recommend them. Tried the BBQ ribs, general Tso's chicken, steamed dumplings, szechuan shrimp, sweet n sour chicken, shrimp roll, egg roll and cheese wonton. Zero complaints. Can't wait to eat my left overs... too much to eat at once, lol. Live behind HCC and completely worth the drive to enjoy fantastic food.
