We used to go to Freddie's all the time when they owned their own location. After they moved to this gas station (or sold their name to new owners) the place has gone downhill.The quality and taste of their food is no longer even close to what it once was. I am in my mid 40's, and I have been going to Freddies Subs since I was a little girl. Even with the main locations closing, and the only option of getting a Freddies sub was from one of two convenience stores, I could always count on a ham and cheese sub being exactly how I always remembered them to be... until today. Since they got purchased, it's just not good. I saw a sign out early in the new ownership that was something like 'Still Freddie's!'. Yeah, no, it isn't. The subs were awful. Like not made the same way at all. I usually get a turkey sub from Freddie's and instead of a large pile of chipped turkey I got a couple slices of just medium sliced turkey, terrible. And at least the last few times I stopped they didn't have soup. Freddie's without crab soup? Absurd.
