In the history of me learning to eat food since my toddler years, I have never, and I do mean never, eaten ate a place as horrible as the Golden Corral in Hagerstown. Where do I begin....How is it that every item of which to choose, was either dry, undercooked, under seasoned, burnt, bitter, or just plain awful?I ate what I could find and was completely mortified by the quality. The only bright spot was our server Shannon. She was polite enough to see that I was upset and asked me "is every thing ok"?... I didn't have the heart to tell her that the food selection was God awful!!! I SWEAR ON MY LIFE...I will never visit this place again. The manager has got to do better. I was completely disappointed, and there is nothing this establishment could ever do to make amends for this travesty.One other thing....the only thing I could stomach in this place was the soup...and that's because it came out of a can.Vegetarian options: The sald bar lettuce looked like it was frozen once, then thawed out.Parking: Parking was plentiful. I guess people knew better to eat elsewhere.Dietary restrictions: Wouldn't matter. They'd probably mess that up too.

The food is decent for the kind of place that it is. They do tend to replenish things reasonably often. It's so chaotic there though. When I go somewhere to eat I don't need somebody asking me if I need something every 5 minutes. That tells me you don't have anything else to do. When the food is well made it's well worth the price for all you can eat but sometimes it's a crapshoot. If you're in the area and want a pretty good meal I'd certainly recommend this place but I wouldn't go out of my way for it

Since I have to watch what I eat, I go for baked meats. The baked chicken thighs out of this world, nice n juicy. The baked FISH was a very big disappointment. It was so thin cut and well over done, even a knife wouldn't cut it. The vegetables I ate were excellent.My husband loves the meatloaf, but said it was way to salty.All other items were good.Just watch sodium content.

I went to eat dinner with my parents tonight, 11/17/22, and let me tell you, the food was absolutely horrible! First, there was no fresh salad, and when we asked for it to be put out, we just got stared at by the workers. The soups were all dried out and the majority of the food was dried out too. We were there 3 full hours before closing time. The problem is the staff couldn't understand us without a translator. I went to the manager, he barely understood me. The ONLY pleasant thing was the carrots and ham weren't too bad. Up until tonight, we were considering Thanksgiving dinner there, not now. We'll be taking our business to Cracker Barrel.

Not quite what it used to be. Pretty sure was due to staffing issues, no ice cream toppings filled, many selections were out. Still a great value for a buffet, will try again but when it's less busy. Loved this place as a kid.

The person at the steak station was rude. There was a plate of steaks already cooked and she threw one of those on the grill, here’s the problem I ask for rare. The steak was well done and like rubber. The restaurant was dirty and the staff was not polite and I didn’t see a single person smile nor was I greeted by any. I will never eat here again. The entire experience was dreadful.

I've been to the Golden Corral in the Adirondack region many times and expected all of them were the same- I was wrong. I was on a trip down to the south and stopped here, and the last time I was at this location was over 10 years ago. The food was cold, and the water tasted like pool water. Also the manager cursed me out when I asked for military discount, by calling me expletives in front of other restaurant members who only said "sorry". Tables were also very dirty and the bathrooms need to be cleaned. Please avoid this place

Used to love this Golden Corral, tonight I have never seen a buffet look so horrible, pans empty, food dried up. Waitress was very nice manager Tracy was no where to be seen until the cashier went on back to get her. Then she got nasty with my friend; when she went behind bar she was stirring food and using utensils with no glove on. Very discouraged.
The food in here is really good! They have a variety of food, a lot of options! The food is fresh, really good, and they cook food for you if you want! I really like this place!

Planning a shopping trip to valley mall.... Called for prices as maybe my states prices are different..... and was greeted with a very arrogant, rude, elderly woman with a very disgusting voice! Who said "they are the same as always goodbye".. ....??? Well... She didn't like me telling her she is a very rude disgusting human being for speaking to a complete stranger in that manner.... Can only imagine how we would be treated in person.... which would be bad as I have no patience for ignorant people!!! ????♀️??♀️.......... Just truly Considering other places now....... Fix your staff!!!!!! goodbye!!!

This is the first that I have been back to this store Post COVID.... 7/31/22....It is lacking in food quality and presentation.... The person at the front counter charged me for soda but forgot to give me a cup and then said he thought I ordered water. I was the only person in line and he already charged me for the dinner and soda... I could see if he was busy....But I was the only one in line....The table server sofar is the nicest one here.... In my opinion the food is either not up to temp or it is undercooked in the holding bins... Which ever the case it lets for an undesirable presentation...I can say for sure that the food quality is lacking...Their signature dish...The Pot Roast is not up to par. The person in the back was using a knife to cut up the beef that is in the Roast... A knife...This is their signature dish and it is supposed to be fork tender..The person at the steak station had no steaks ready to serve...I could see if the place was busy But it is not.... No where near to being busy...Last update of my visit @ 7pm... I pulled out 5 dirty ice cream bowls before I found a clean one without and sort of residue on them..... As I have said this place is not and was not busy at all while I was here... I could understand the lack of upkeep if they were busy or understaffed BUT this type of disregard for food safety is from lack of respect for the customer and poor management skills...

The worst Golden Corral chain I've ever experienced. I completed my salad before the waitress ever showed up to bring drinks.the meat server was Mia for about 10 minutes, no one acknowledged the lack of service to get steak, steak served was cold. The remainder are Ft he buffet mainly sides appeared old as if sitting out for an extreme amount of time, see photos. Would not recommend wasting your time at this very poorly managed establishment.

I don't usually go to buffets but my youngest daughter begged me! Food was ok, salad bar was good. The place seemed to be clean. The kids loved the desert bar! Our server, J, was attentive, kind, right on cue with drinks and clearing dishes. Gave me some great tips on where to take the kids around here this summer. The restaurant could def make it cooler in there.
