I had an amazing time in this restaurant. We liked the great ambience and the food. The waiters are very attentive. I’m content we ultimately managed to eat here.

Great Ribs no better anywhere!!! Good service and atmosphere. If anyone said the portions are small the must be crazy. Food is second to none and we never leave there without a take home box of left overs. Thanks guys Ken a d BJ Grandel

They mistakenly gave me a very spicy and hot sauce. That was my first time there.

I didn't like it. We had to wait 45 minutes for our food. The crab dip was like soup. The crab dip tasted like tuna fish.

We enjoyed dinner here with friends. Between us we had wings, crab nachos, Brunswick stew, a burger, ribs, a Jack Daniels chicken sandwich and mac and cheese. Everything was great! Local beers on tap, happy hour specials, and pleasant service.

A++ We chose an a la cart style of catering. The staff was great to work with and went above and beyond to help make the best meal possible meal for our budget! Everyone loved the food! great selection, great service and great price!

Hotel suggested this restaurant. Place was packed but waited about 15 minutes. Really enjoyed the food and prices are very good.

Although we missed all the happy hour deals the food was definitely worth it and reasonably priced. The blueberry/lavender cider was yummy! Our waitress, Jill, was very friendly and polite. Would definitely recommend.

always get great service and great food , brisket or ribs can't go wrong!! Tuesday special burnt ends always great to try new sauce!! Brunswick stew is awesome

I like BBQ but the BBQ flavor could be more intense than it is. Also sometimes the chicken is not done enough.

Haven’t been in few years because food was just not good. Went last night and same old same old got the ribeye not seasoned and French fries were over cooked!! Had to dip my steak in BBQ to get some kinda taste!

Great place to share with friends/family. I can't say enough positives about the meat, all of it was flavored and textured so well. What I really appreciate is how nice the sides were. BBQ baked beans were smoky and just sweet enough, greens were a good balance.

Very generous portions of food. We ordered the Valentine sampler for 2 to try a variety of dishes. Some of it was a little dry, i.e. the chicken wings. Most was decent. Our favorites were the rib bones and the pulled brisket. Special came with this cute heart cake.

Weary travelers, we found the Hempen Hill BBQ, turning around in a mall parking lot!!! What a pleasant surprise! I had the special-garlic pasta which was awesome. My copilot had a more traditional barbecue dish which was also tasty. Service was superb; drinks fantastic; and the atmosphere welcoming, fun, relaxing! Excellent choice if you're in the area!
