Imperial Reviews
Very disappointed with dinner tonight. 1 scallop with shrimp, scallops and string beans meal. Owner was not willing to give any more scallops or attempt to please us as customers. Said the scallops were expensive so why have them on your menu. They certainly can raise their prices though. Also my dining partner’s beef and snow peas were not edible either. Meat was tough and chewy. I always liked this place but will never go there again.
Our new favorite place, everything was delicious and best service, very friendly and fast. 5 Stars🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Imperial restaurant is a hidden gem in Hagerstown, serving some of the best Chinese food in the area. The food is absolutely delicious, with generous portions and authentic flavors. Popular choices include the Singapore Noodle and General Tso Chicken, which features white meat chicken in a sweet and spicy sauce. The egg rolls are made on site and are a must-try, with one reviewer stating they would return strictly for the egg rolls. The restaurant enjoys a warm, friendly atmosphere, with a cozy interior and relaxing Chinese music. The staff is welcoming, and there is a sense of family as they work together. The server was very kind and did their best to accommodate, and the waitress was friendly. The quality of food is superb, with one customer stating they haven't had Chinese food this good since leaving New York. The prices are great, and you get lots of food for what you pay for. The building is old, and the interior is a bit rundown and tired, but the bathroom was clean. The extensive menu also offers delightful options like the Seafood Combination in Bird's Nest, which includes shrimp, lobster, and scallops in a crispy taro potato nest. While there are vegetarian options, many soups and rolls utilize animal products. With plenty of parking and easy access from both Interstate 81 and Interstate 70, Imperial restaurant is the perfect spot for those passing through or looking for a great meal.
