First time here at Just Diner with my daughter and we had a great experience! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming and the service was excellent. Narissa was our server and did an outstanding job, she was friendly, attentive and made us feel right at home. We'll definitely be back!

We waited almost 30 minutes for two pancakes, eggs, bacon, and home fries. The “pancake flight” was two pancakes. I ordered the strawberry cheesecake pancakes and they had an ACTUAL WHOLE SLICE OF CHEESECAKE ON IT??? I feel like I should have been warned because that’s kind of insane lol. I know what I ordered was going to be sweet but that’s just ridiculous. That’s not breakfast at that point and I feel like customers should be clued in on what to expect or at least have pictures of them.

Honestly I love this place. For me it’s like local treasure for the Hagerstown area if you want great food. It’s always crowded on weekends which is great thing—that speaks on how well the food is. You may end up waiting anywhere from 20-45 mins, but you can leave your name and number to receive a text when your table is ready. They offer freshly squeezed juices with their extensive menu. I always go for breakfast, but the lunch items are great too. The chicken and waffles are my favorite topped with the brown butter honey sauce. The food is so amazing that I don’t order off the kids menu for my children—I just get them regular portions because they will eat most of it and then save the leftovers for later.
I’d definitely recommend all the breakfast items!

The food BANGING!!! The waiting staff is very friendly and the cooks are very fast in preparation. Bring the whole family!!
Overall, this is a great diner with good food and a solid vibe, but there are a few small things that could really improve the experience. Some menu items are a bit difficult to eat the way they’re plated — for example, the breakfast tacos would be much easier and more enjoyable in soft shells instead of hard shells.
The tables are also very small and already have a lot on them. If you order a few items, you quickly run out of space. It would be nice if things like ketchup and sugar packets were brought out upon request instead of staying on the table. There’s also no place to hang a purse, and the tables are so small that items end up on your lap or risk falling off the chair.
That said, the food is good and it’s still a place I enjoy — just a few layout and plating tweaks would make it even better.

Terrible service.... instead of changing policies and holding the people who work their accountable, all they will do is reply to this review and claim that they are truly sorry, which they actually are not like most of these restaurants, they could care less.If you get good service or not, the food is subpar.Anyway, my 6 year old could cook better food than this place.
