What a lovely shop! Friendly service. Affordable pricing. Was able to get a hummingbird cake on short notice. And it was as beautiful as it was delicious! Would recommend and patron again!

We were in search of a local baker for our daughter’s wedding cake. My husband found Michele through recommendations on a facebook post. We liked what we saw on her facebook page, and her website, everything looked beautiful.

I filled out the contact form on her website, and she responded within a couple of hours. We made an appointment to meet with Michele, and to have a tasting. We asked to try the red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting, and the vanilla cake with raspberry filling and whipped frosting. Both were amazing, Michele was very personable and friendly. A real pleasure to work with.

For the wedding cake, we went with a three tiered cake, the bottom layer was the red velvet with cream cheese filling, and the top two tiers were the vanilla with raspberry filling, and the whole cake was frosted in the whipped frosting. We also ordered 3 dozen cupcakes in the same two flavors.

We have been to several weddings over the years, and even my own wedding, where the cake was mediocre at best, typically dry and kind of tasteless. I can honestly say, the cake and cupcakes that Michele made for our daughter’s wedding is the BEST wedding cake i have ever had, it was so moist and delicious. All of our guests were raving about it.

If you are looking for a great cake for any occasion, I highly recommend Michele’s bakery and sweet shoppe in Hagerstown Maryland.

The cupcakes were exactly what I wanted for our event. I sent picture and color ideas and she nailed it. Not only were they pretty but they tasted delicious!

Ordered a vegan chocolate cake, it was excellent and she was able to make it exactly like the reference I showed her. Highly recommend, she also has much better pricing and availability than the other bakery in the area that does vegan goods. Her cake was better than theirs, too!

I emailed Michele about a gender reveal cake and after I screwed up what I wanted , her vision was awesome. The cake was moist and the fondant was overly sweet. I highly recommend. Michele also was able to do this on 2 days notice while still prepping for a wedding. I will def be using her for the baby shower

I called last minute for a cake and cupcakes for my Mom's Memorial Service and Michele was so sweet to work me in. The cake and cupcakes were wonderful. I highly recommend Michele's Bakery for all your needs!
