I travel in the Maryland area.And I often eat at different mission barbecue stores. This location of hagerstown is one of the better ones. The food was served hot and the side dishes were filled properly. However at nearly every single one of their stores they seem to have a problem with the water takers and cashiers because they often make mistakes. So be on the lookout if you go there. The mistake today was they didn't give me my cup so I could get a drink the spite having asked for it. However they did ring up the order correctly along with the correct amount. It's clear to me that their order takers.And cashiers are simply not paying attention to what they are doing. So as a customer I caution you to check your receipt and make sure you're getting what you paid for and that they are not overcharging you. And I must confess that the pork barbecue sandwich is very good at all their stores as long as they serve it hot, which some stores have problems doing. I know for a fact that store district management is aware of the problem and hopefully they will give the order takers and cashiers the training that they clearly need. I will be back because I like mission barbecue.

When I placed my order the cashier got it wrong. It was a deliberate act to overcharge me, in my opinion. Unfortunately I know math. Then I had To ask the young woman to correct it twice because she couldn't figure it out. In the meantime they served my food and it was getting cold. Their pork barbecue sandwich is very good, and I would rate it about an 85 out of 100. The only barbecue sauce that is the one I consistently enjoy is labeled texas. I typically enjoy their sides, but at this location I found them watery and skimpy on the serving size. I do find that the quality varies quite a bit store to store at different locations. The stores in Maryland always seem grossly over-staffed to me. The atmosphere is casual which I like. I also like the fact that the furniture is heavy duty and there's always plenty of napkins. It wouldn't take much to dramatically improve things there, such as making sure that the food is served hot, filling up the food containers and reducing water content in the side dishes. The serving sizes should be larger by simply filling them to the size of the container. And some of those barbecue sauces are downright terrible, while other ones aren't bad at all, so I would reduce the selection of barbecue sauces or make them higher quality. And the cashier has to have intelligence sufficient not to incorrectly charge the customers at all. The employees are trained to be friendly, which I like. And the place is relatively clean, another positive. They have a good quality product, and I enjoy their pork barbecue: they give a good proportion on the sandwich. I visit many of their stores because in Maryland. But they desperately have to get rid of the number of employees in their stores;there's just too many employees standing around doing nothing. I think the store in Westminster Md is a little bit better than the Frederick MD location, but I find that they serve the pork in Westminster lukewarm or cold which I do NOT like at all. It is a clean store and I do like that very much. It's worth the trip, but understand that the store is not as good as it could be. It is worth patronizing, in my opinion, because the pork barbecue sandwich is pretty good, Along with the baked beans and the collard greens. Skip the french fries because they have the skins on them, Is my advice. To the credit of of store management, specifically Brandon Demers, he did offer an apology and business remediation. So I am hopeful that they will make changes for the benefit of all customers. I do eat there several times a month and only offer my constructive feedback to the companies I like and continue to patronize.

I love Mission BBQ!! I’m so happy they have collards all year round,I kept asking about that and it happened, I love the turkey and Mac, banana pudding delicious ,Wash it down with a half and half .And I’m good for the day💯💯😋😋!

We were so pleased with our experience using Mission BBQ to cater our anniversary picnic! The crowd loved the pulled pork and brisket and all of the sides were exceptional!! It was really easy to order the food and the staff were exceptional!

Food is crap. This is the McDicks of bbq. Brisket is like trying to chew a leather strap and everything else is subpar at best. If you want the best in fast food garbage bbq this is the place for you!
